He will be hungry no doubt which is not a bad thing but and this is a big but he would be up against the likes of VVD & Henderson. I agree Samatta and Davis haven't been blowing us away but Samatta has experience in the Champions League and Keinan is a big strong lad. I've been disappointed with Samatta since the break, he looked a real threat beforehand.

Do we though? How many times have we bottled it this season after going a goal up! Really hoping we can break the top 6 curse next week. Heard it in a podcast last week Dean Smith before lock down was quoted saying he has many training ground footballers. Players that can play but can't necessarily handle the pressure of playing at Villa Park in front of that many passionate fans or in a relegation battle. Maybe no fans plays into our hands?

I'm with you here Reina just looks past it for me! Nyland is a great shot stopper but I still have flashbacks from the Championship season and get nervous every time he comes to collect a cross. I know Steer hasn't played in a while but last season he showed he can step up and handle the pressure plus he loves the Villa. For that reason I'd stick him between the posts!

My love of Villa started when I was around 6, it was the likes of Dublin, Angel & as I always played in goals the signing of Schmeicel that really sold it for me! This is my second season as a season ticket holder, sitting on the corner flag between the North & Trinity Road stands. Reason for joining Villa Talk is I have zero friends that are Villa Fans (apart from Rob who has Season Ticket next to me), so looking to discuss the comings and goings of Villa with like-minded people and also when football resumes with fans would be great to meet a few lads and lasses to travel up from London to games with and have a few pints!
