Any updates on his injury?

I thought he should have started, could have tweaked in different ways to play him instead of Cash. He brought stability, calm and possession to the team and contributed very much to the win.
Will be starting next week! (as Kamara is suspended if I recall correctly)

It's Dee-a-bee. He's just saying it fast.
Always feels like the "Di" sound in french sounds more like a J mixed with a D, fast or slow
If you heard Lucas Digne pronouncing his own name it's more like a 'Djeen' than a 'deen'

I’ve been pronouncing it ‘Dee-ARR-bee’, whereas European journalists and commentators pronounce it ‘Dear-BEE’ or ‘Dee-Abby’.
I’m going to call him Moussa..
Sounds more like Dja-bee

Thinking the RW position might be the position that most needs upgrading - but I'm struggling to thinking of a realistic upgrade that will come.
Maybe poaching Villareal's players by taking advantage of Emery's relationship to the players?

We go to the Playoff round. This season, West Ham played Viborg (Denmark) in that round.
Already wondering how hard it's going to be to get away tickets for this. I live outside the UK and would love to experience a European away day.
Not living in the UK too - thinking of just hiding in the home stands as a last resort if I can't get away tickets, since they are likely to be allocated to season ticket holders?

Anyone who asked “does it really matter in attracting players if we get the Europa Conference?”, look how much qualifying meant to the players.
I think most importantly it gives us a good excuse to enlarge our squad without the need of shipping some useful players away; more game time for squad players with more fixtures.

Some delusional Everton fans really think they can get Poch or Tuchel because of their club stature aka 'You can't really get any bigger than us'.
Thinks Everton is a sleeping Giant while Villa is just a mid-sized club. I really hope they can taste what we've tasted 7/8 years ago.

Loved the all Brazilian second goal: Chambers - Coutinho - Luiz
Chamberinho you mean?

Not a dominating performance, but who cares at this moment.

This lovely little flick!
Although I must admit, a large part of the time he still looks a bit clumsy (largely due to his shorter leg), but how joyful it is to see Big Wes scoring again!

My initial gut instinct is that I don’t like it. Then I think about it carefully, and like it even less. Each to their own, but this signing wouldn’t make me happy.
The difference between Suarez and Coutinho is that I don't like Suarez's character as much (the biting incidents, racial abuses etc). And of course, Suarez is much older.

Talked to my Brazilian colleague about how excited I am, and he’s like “Philippe who?”
Apparently it’s pronounced as Col-chee-new. Our entire nation has been pronouncing it wrongly.

You really can't say Coutinho isn't an upgrade to Trez/AEG/Bertie
I know his best position isn't a winger but on paper if we offload any of the above and bring Coutinho in, it's definitely a plus to the team.

With some rough estimation, we'll have to win 12 games out of the remaining 23 games to stand a chance of getting into Europe. Do you guys think we stand a chance?
Recent examples of a good second half of the season that springs to my mind (excluding the so-called big 6): West Ham/Leeds last season, Southampton multiple times, Wolves/Crystal Palace had a few good second-halves too. These teams have all achieved getting around 40 points after week 15.
There's bound to be one (and most likely only one) non big 6 teams that manages to get 35+ points in the expense of the teams around them. Can we be that team?

These are the sort of games we have to pull something out of, if we want to make up the lost grounds.

Give this man a raise!!

I somehow still had the fear that our defense will just collapse at the last 10 minutes. I can recall us being absolutely rock solid and I can put 100% faith into us seeing the game out right around last December, and I wish to regain that faith under SG.

Part of me hopes that Konsa can get the hat trick

Was a Man Utd fan till I was 18 and lost interest in watching football. A few years later, I found myself watching the Championship and guess what, I fell in love with a team called Aston Villa and I've never felt a stronger connection in my life. I've since flown to Birmingham twice (all the way from a very far country) to watch Villa.
Villa till I die!
