Just give them the title now and let us concentrate on who gets fourth.
We don’t want it wrapped up before they play spurs.

Incredible header from De Bruyne.

They’re as sure they’re going to lose to us as we were sure we were going to lose to Arsenal away.

Reading this thread tonight, Palace are now world beaters, The Harlem Globetrotters of Football. Chelsea and Liverpool now easy games For Villa and Spurs. Anything else I missed?
About sums it up. Come back tomorrow after Brighton beat City and we’ll be worried about them too.

Yes on the other hand the Liverpool game looks easier now
Spurs will be thinking the same unfortunately.

Palace 2-0 up. Could really do with them shaking off this little good spell before we have to play them.

Sheffield United scored again!

United equalised.

This up and at em kick and rush football is so uncouth. Such a waste of energy and fatigue. Compare this to the 4D chess our King Unai has us playing.
Fun to watch tho.

I think we're guaranteed 6th more or less as Newcastle play Man Utd in the run in.
Yep apparently this result confirms that we can finish no lower than 6th.

Yep
Emery will be really pissed about the FA Cup result and how we played.
Ha, love it.

We’re going to get the reaction performance on Saturday aren’t we?

Those prediction percentages swing massively with every result at this stage of the season. If Chelsea beat us and Spurs beat Arsenal, which is not implausible, that 80/20 would probably flip back in Spurs' favour.
Agree. That account and supercomputers are a load of old nonsense.

He did have a choice in this didn’t he? We haven’t just triggered an extension on our own? He has had to willingly sign something?

Great character and has had some great games this season but, I think he's been in pretty poor form since he came back from the ban.
He’s had one dodgy game against Lille in which they were all crap.

To get the control he gets here, Unai would need to replace both Tuchel and Rummenigge at Bayern.
I think people underestimate the degree to which we've given him the keys to the castle.
I don’t underestimate it, I just slightly worry about it. It’s obviously working at the moment and long may it continue but it does come with risk. Anyway, I genuinely believe he is 100% committed here at the moment. No way has he worked this hard to get distracted at this stage of the season. I’ll be happy if the managerial merry go round passes him by in the summer tho.

Surprised nobody is talking about the links that Bayern are after him now.
I’m trying to ignore them. I don’t subscribe to the fact that he wouldn’t leave us. He’s ambitious and left Villarreal where he was adored to come to us. If he wanted the move and they wanted him, he would go.
That said, I think there will be more fashionable candidates and I certainly don’t think he’d be desperate for a move, he seems very happy. I’m pretty confident he’ll still be here next season. I would feel a lot more confident if we qualified for CL.
My main concern is that I would like the club to have a contingency plan if he upped sticks and took all his back room staff with him. However, when he does go, be that in 3 months or 3 years, I know we’ll be in a much better place than when he took over.

We’re in such a strong position but we can’t forget that 2 of Spurs last games are against Sheff Utd and Burnley who will probably already be relegated. That’s the 6 point gap made up. We need a couple more wins to be sure.
-
On the bench tomorrow and hopefully fit for Chelsea?
-
Shame for him. I think he’s excellent but evens things up a little bit in the injury stakes.

What’s going on with Chukwemeka? Does he play much for them?
