    Which begs the question why get rid? Other that the wages argument which aren't as high as some like to speculate on here him and Moreno as LB choices is pretty damn good. (other than both being over 30 but does that really matter?) Cash I can see the reasoning he's not pulled up trees this season.

    As good as Konsa is at RB when called upon he is a CB and a very good one at that, Torres LCB Konsa RCB is what makes sense as a starting CB pairing next season, Carlos will either be a squad player or moved on, Lenglet will not be here so will need replacing depending on how TM recovers. What happens at RB will be interesting same with LB if Digne goes.

    First and second season back in the PL he would have improved us a lot, but yes that ship has definitely sailed!

    I really wanted us to sign him at the time, not so much bullet dodged different time and place and the injury may never have happened.

    I think Konsa will be ahead of Mings as a first choice CB next season next to Torres, if we are selling Cash we need to buy a quality RB as first choice and have the Serb kid as an understudy.

    Liverpool will likely cash in on Salah this summer, I’m not saying sell Luiz just it’s highly likely we will need to. Selling Cash isn’t going to generate the funds needed to invest. My last sentence makes perfect sense you don’t progress by keeping the same players unless we sell players/add players we stagnate or go backwards.

    I don't think there is much of a profit to made on Cash tbh! Yes hopefully the others you list will be moved on but there will be at least one player the fanbase don't want to move on go, hopefully not DL but one of the older players.

    I don't think there is anything more nailed on than that we will be selling players come the summer, if we don't we won't be shopping in the right price bracket to improve the team sign of the times with FFP unfortunately. Teams don't progress by keeping the same group of players.

    The question is did they have KPI's? As a CEO your role is strategic not operational so should he be getting involve in day to day running.

    I'm sure the owners were fully aware of the type of person they were employing and did there due diligence but just maybe his style of management is not what works at a PL football club? Like everyone else on this forum I have no idea how true any of this is. Any new CEO/president worth his salt in this day and age that walks into a job will bring in an external company to do a review of the current org structure, policies etc. based on various frameworks out there. What worries me is the bit about awarding contracts to mates/previous associates etc. if the club does not have a robust procurement process in place it's very concerning and just leads to back handers and corruption and I don't want that at my football club.
