I met super john mcginn in dubai over the weekend, such an unassuming humble guy, made me like him even more! Asked him about transfers and whether he had the inside track on any potential deals, told me he has no idea at all and usually finds out at the same time as the fans, was quite surprised. this 50m UTD bid has to be newspaper clickbait. give it a few years in the prem and im sure Mcginn will be worth more than that

just oozes class, nothing phases him and he never changes his game regardless of how many awful tackles he has to endure. not entirely sure what your issue is here - it looked like a bad tackle initially and the heat of the game could definitely have pushed the ref to give straight red. Mcginn is on 14 yellows therefore should be rested, no? Was trying to work out if you're a simpleton or just a bit hyped from the game but then saw location; Coventry. Case closed.

It's been an incredible season for him and what a player. pace, power, ball retention, passing (i think the way he switches play is a joy to watch), game management, he literally has it all. you look at the state of man utd and they are crying out for someone like SJM to dominate games. Really do think he has the game to play at any level, lets hope it's with us!

talk about a hot and cold footballer, but i think partly down to a lack of game time. he still seems to have serious end product and his crossing is sublime. When he has some games under his belt and a bit of match sharpness he will annihilate full backs in this league

Regarding Terry - I think i would pass on his this year. No pre-season so would take him a month to get to the point of being a starter and surely there must be CBs out there not on his huge wages and younger. I have lots of Utd fan friends telling me that Tuanzebe is the dog's nuts, hoping bruce gives him a chance as an out-and-out CB. Seen a few links for Odegaard also today. Watched him for a few years and looked the real deal before real madrid. seems to have petered out and was struggling in their B team. Guess thats what happens when you pay a 16 yo 80k a week. I pine for Snodgrass back but looks no chance as he came on for hammers this weekend.

Couldn't really care less about the result but always nice to carry on the winning momentum before Ipswich & Brentford. I would start a much weakened team with a lot of the young players but maybe keep Kodjia on in the hope he can bang a few in and regain some confidence

Hi VT I have been browsing and reading this forum for over a year however for this season I am going to actually input! Currently live in Dubai and although I haven't been to VP in a couple of years I watch religiously through AVTV overseas. Been a very strange summer with the threat of administration followed by becoming the 3rd richest club in England but I am cautiously optimistic about our chances this year. The addition of Mcginn looks inspired and the resilience to keep Jack along with hopefully a few good loan signings and I can really see us challenging for the title / top 2. UTV! Marcus
