  1. I would like to take this opportunity to say that the above post was definitely ITK and not at all just a complete stab in the dark *Disclaimer - I am not ITK. Was just a guess.
  2. Would be amazed if there isn't a taker for Hourihane before the deadline. And therefore would still be surprised if we don't bring another in as we'll only let him go if we have someone coming in.
  3. I've said it several times already but Ibrahim Sangare has to be the one we go for. Hoping if I say it enough it will come true.
  4. After the start he's made to the season why on earth would we be wanting to sell El Ghazi??? Why are some of our fans so eager to get rid of him?
  5. Good to see big Dion Dublin doing well on Celebrity Masterchef. Always seems such a nice man every time I see him.
  6. Totally agree. To someone who had never watched football before he wouldn't have stood out as someone making their first ever start at this level. He's 17! Didn't look scared or intimidated at all. I remember being 17 and being scared to put petrol in the car.
  7. Juve were awful all over the pitch to be fair. They were the last in my 8 fold free bet accumulator that would have won me £783 too! B@stards!
  8. He's also a real leader too. Constantly talking to his team mates. Combined with his footballing intelligence, it's not hard to see why he's lasted so well. Wouldn't be surprised if he plays into his 40's.
  9. Probably Smith's fault they weren't playing, according to some
  10. You're right. He didn't struggle at all. People are trying to be too clever and analyse too much. The facts are he's 17 years old and didn't look out of place on his full Premier League debut.
  11. To the three people who have put "Very Poor" for Smith's performance; what would you have done differently?

Could they? Injuries are never cut and dry. If the physio thought it was best to see if he could continue then I trust them. These are highly qualified medical people we're talking about. I suppose it's just easier on a forum though.
  13. I reacted with a laugh but seriously I do think he'd actually do a decent job there if our injury crisis gets even worse. He's intelligent enough to do the role.
  14. As soon as I saw Mings, McGinn and Ramsey were all missing today then I said I'd be happy with a point. I don't see how anyone can judge Smith at this stage of the season. We have been absolutely nowhere near full strength in any of the 3 games so far. Mings, McGinn, Ramsey, Bailey, Sanson, Traore, Watkins, Trezeguet, Luiz all missing at least 1 game so far. That's absolutely ridiculous. We've just had to play a 36 year old winger and a 17 year old in centre mid and still not lost the game. Anyone calling for Smith's head at this stage seriously need to have a word with themselves.
  15. He really did not look out of place at all. Not one bit. Looked like he'd been playing at this level for a few years. The more he plays, the better he will get too. He's ready.

I'm sure you know better than our professional physios. Physios out.
  17. Beautiful goal. The ball was kind of behind him and he dug that finish out. Glad to see him off the mark early on.
  18. Mr Versatile. Who would have thought he would one day be playing centre mid for us. He's going to be such a key singing for us.
  19. Maybe he's just excited and passionate about his son. What's wrong with that?
