  1. Change the half time drink or chat because I knew we would come out in the second half and concede. Seen this happen too many times. Villa need to stamp some authority on the game from the off and not sit back and wait for the inevitable to happen and then try to chase the game. As the manager said "dust themselves off and go again" but I hope with some more intent and little more running around by Kojia might help. We have the players but still not playing as a team and tactics might need a tweak. Hutton MOTM and very rarely lets Villa down.
  2. This game will hinge on who Bruce puts in for Taylor (what a ludicrous red) and whether he sets up the side to exploit Wolves 3 4 3 formation by playing wide and stretching them. Solid at the back of course but do not rely on lucky breakaways for the odd goal. Hit them hard at the start. Possible left field choice for Taylor replacement could be Whelan with Miles coming in in front of the back four if he is fit. Other than than possibly Mitch Clark who is quite quick on his feet if lacking a little experience. Looking forward to seeing the game in Australia on BEIN sport. Win this one and I think promotion is well on the cards.
  3. Hello All I have been a supporter of Villa since 1962 (Tony Hateley, Vic Crowe, the Doug and Alan Deakin early on and a young Sid Cowans and Alan little later on) just the mention a few), and followed them down to the old third division and back up to the old first division. Unfortunately I had emigrated before the European Cup win. Even from Australia I have done my best to keep up to date with Villa. Recently signed up for the live feeds with AVTV but that has many technical problems which I will post about later. Luckily the coverage of the EFL has just been picked up by BEIN in Australia so I hopefully will watch Villa march on with a win at Wolves. You learn optimism when a Villa fan!!! Looking forward to the challenge of the Premier next year. John
