  1. Useless performance, useless manager. Baffling tactics and subs again. F*** off Bruce
  2. Just glad we got back to winning ways last night, need momentum going into the POs. Forget about top 2, I think Cardiff will beat Wolves anyway and that'll pretty much be that.
  3. Surely to goodness we'll bounce back in this. Reading are utter piss, much worse than the 3 teams we've faced previously. Has to be a home win despite how shite we've been ourselves.
  4. Ideally I'd like a young up coming manager to complete the inevitable rebuild and use the loan market effectively (as you say ffp will ensure of no funds) and hopefully use the funds from player sales. It'll have to be a long term thing but I'm prepared for that as long as I can see a pattern of play and a style. With Bruce we'd just get more of the same rubbish.
  5. I honestly thought he was proving me wrong on the amazing run previously, but now he's shown himself up for what he really is. A limited, crap manager who relies on individuals to bail him out. There's no game plan, no style of play, no identity to our play. Let's be honest, for all the money we've spent the last 18 months, if we take Grealish and Adomah out we've got very little creativity and nothing going forward - How can this be? It has to be the manager. We've spent the best part of what, 60 million quid since the Dr bought us? I just don't get it. We've hand picked some top championship players who'd done well at other clubs (Kodjia, Hogan, Hourihane and so on) and some good PL loanees in Snodgrass, Johnstone along with experienced heads like your Elmos, Terry's, Chesters etc. How can Bruce not get cohesive, consistent performances from a squad that's so experienced and has big quality for this league? Honestly, when we appointed Bruce I didn't particularly like it but I warmed to the idea that he'd at least get us promoted within a year even if the football was shite. Okay we can still go up through the playoffs but with the money spent, he's totally failed. We should NOT be relying on the gamble that is the playoffs given the squad we have. It's utterly shambolic. I'm finding it very hard to get behind him. How can we go from the high of beating Wolves to the utter utter turgid crap of the last 3 games? Problem is it's been a theme all season - we've played well probably about 5 or 6 times all season. The minimum I'd have expected is promotion. I could accept the turgid football if we were in the top 2, but we ain't. So **** annoyed that we're about to potentially throw away our best chance of promotion, because if we don't make it this year we're done for as far as I'm concerned. Leeds, Sheff Weds, Notts Forest - countless big clubs who've been stuck down here for years. That could easily be us soon. Sorry to sound so negative and depressing but it's how I feel. This manager is hugely underperforming and it's totally unacceptable.
  6. I'd argue that he didn't outwit Nuno really. We scored 2 scrambled set piece goals, and caught them on the counter twice. We played well don't get me wrong but Wolves giftwrapped us that win by defending terribly on the day, and fooled everyone into thinking we'd battered them and were going to stroll into the automatic places. As you say though, generally the performances have been piss poor all season despite scrambling results.
  7. I want Bruce gone regardless of what happens in the playoffs. 100000000% not the man to take us forward. If we somehow go up he'd be out of his depth, if we didn't he aint the man to carry out the inevitable rebuild that'd happen in the summer. Totally sick of this anti football shite, WTF has happened since the Wolves performance?? We've gone back to the pre christmas performances again, the team looks totally clueless and devoid of ideas. And he did the throwing on all the strikers shite again, did he learn nothing from Bolton? Like a kid on football manager ffs
  8. Pathetic performance, pathetic tactics, pathetic manager.
  9. Either that or Wolves just didn't turn up. Could've just been a freak result. I don't even know anymore tbh. So pissed off at how we've thrown it away
  10. Just got back, didn't see that coming, really thought we'd bounce back from Tuesday. Totally piss poor performance and we deserved to lose despite Bolton's thuggish tactics. The shape fell to bits later on, pointless having 4 strikers on the pitch and taking off the players who provide the ammunition... shit subs from Bruce, playoffs it is then. Have to concentrate on winning as many of these next 8 games as we can in order to take momentum into the playoffs now.
  11. Fully expect us to bounce back in this one.
  12. Did not see that coming at all, wow. Really up against it now but not giving up yet. Still some twists and turns to come I hope
  13. I think they will. End of the day Cardiff have had an advantage to a certain extent with their postponement last weekend - theyve played their last 4 games at home, 3 of them being against teams who don't travel well and theyve scraped them each time. Brentford away is a totally different proposition - taken points off us, Wolves and Fulham at home. I hope I'm not tempting fate here but I'd be surprised if Cardiff won there. Draw IMO.
  14. Got to win this, or Saturday's game was meaningless. Must back up Saturday's performance with a win here tonight. Fully expect us to do so

    Wolves

Wolves are a good side, which made the win even sweeter on Saturday. We **** annihilated them. Still expect them to finish top barring them totally collapsing (which is possible I suppose, they've done the same in 2002 and a heavy beating on Saturday may well damage morale..). First and foremost we need to concentrate on overhauling Cardiff. If Wolves continue to falter then even better
  16. Did not see that coming. Excellent performance, from 1 to 11. If we can't take momentum and confidence from that then we never will. Come on lads we can do this!
  17. Winning this would send out a huge statement. Wolves look jittery at the moment, hopefully they'll falter at Leeds tonight. If they do then they're there for the taking on Saturday.
  18. Probably the easiest game we've had all season, a big 3 points. Roll on Saturday
  19. Inevitable really. Shame as he was doing so well Monk's hardly brilliant but he's clearly better than Cotterill and I imagine they'll scrape it on the last day again like last year
  20. It's a straight fight for 2nd between us and Cardiff IMO. Fulham are too far back - 8 points off automatics, big ask. They've got 3 teams to overhaul, think they'll have too much to do.
  21. Fulham's win just highlighting what a huge win it was today. Looks like Wolves are wobbling but I doubt they'll be caught. Could really do with a Bristol favour tomorrow, sadly can't see it. Just got to keep going and hopefully Jack and AA are back soon!
  22. It's going to be nip and tuck till the end folks. Honestly don't know what to think anymore. One thing for sure though, if the gap becomes 7 points then 2nd aint happening. Seems the nerves are jittering for everyone at the top though, even Wolves are dropping points. Really need Jack and AA back soon, for the run in, although the last thing we want is to rush them back and they break down again
  23. Wouldn't surprise me if they scramble out again. There's so many shit teams at the bottom
  24. Onomah.. **** off. Best hope we have of scoring is a set piece, aint creating **** all that team isnt
