I'm not familiar with the other incidents discussed here, but I saw Bacuna and think he deserves whatever he gets and there can be a million reasons why the punishment differs from others. Bacuna's anger and verbal assault shocked me itself, and then I saw the chest bump. Beyond the pale, all of it. It doesn't matter if it was "dumb" or that some may think it was just an usual slip in judgement-a lot of crimes could fit that. It doesn't excuse him, it's precisely the reason he needs a large enough punishment to give him, and others, a reason to control themselves. I agree with others that don't think the club should appeal. Take this one and save making appeals for more ambiguous incidents.

I wasn't able to watch the last game, and I'm glad he played well, but every time I've seen him he is terrible at passing- going forward it's usually just giving the ball away, and his crosses don't seem to make chances. I don't understand how someone with so much experience is reliably bad at passing. I do like the idea of coming forward that much, but, for him, he never gets back in position. It's all too common to see teams pass it over to their left side-in the final third-and there's no Villa defense within 15 yards because Hutton doesn't get back. The best thing I've seen him do this year is draw a free kick by dribbling up the middle so slowly that it made a defender's tackle look like a foul.

I'm a pretty new fan in the US-just started following Premier League last year & chose Villa as my team-so new to the game & the club. So, looking for a good forum to chat with other fans-I definitely have opinions but also a lot to learn. I'm a Detroit Lions fan in US football, so trust me when I say I'm no stranger to the Villa "so much potential! Why is this happening?" anguish.
