I dunno, I think it could be good if United fluke a win here, United won’t be catching us, they are too inconsistent this season, whereas this puts us right on City’s heels and they are title contenders….. So surely that puts us back in the conversation for the title!

My thoughts on Purslow…. I feel he did a lot of good work in laying the foundations to getting Villa to where we are today, he made a decision that in hindsight he regrets but overall he did a good job and probably was what we needed at that time in that role.

Owned by Brightons Tony Bloom, well used to be owned, he had to go from majority owner to minority to appease UEFA rules as both his teams were in European competitions. So I’d be wary of facing them as imagine there’s a style of play being developed there that mimics Albions.
