    A... Any other answer is mental imo! In twenty years from now are we all going to meet up and talk about that season we finished 4th. Getting 4th doesn't guarantee anything, and if it's the only reason we hang on to a few players then what happens the next season if we don't finish top 4 and they leave anyway. Nothing in the future is guaranteed! If I die in June I'd rather die thinking of the trophy we have won that how we finished 4th... Trophy. All. Day. Long. Fwiw we are definitely finishing 4th so it's a hypothetical.

    I've stopped worrying about what everyone else is doing in Europe because we are finishing 4th so it doesn't matter... If we were going to finish 5th I might be mildly concerned...

    I think Watkins is just as important to this team as Benteke was to that team, I do consider those variables you mentioned but there are other stats that backup my Watkins, like Benteke had 6 assists in his 3 seasons with us and Watkins pressing is vital to us as a couple of examples.

    This guy has received far too much hate, he plays with a certain aggression that I believe we could do with more of, and his performances are improving steadily. Would love to see him part of the squad next season!

    He's better than Benteke! He's a better all round player and and he has already equalled Benteke's best season with 5 matches to go. Surely is not even even any debate anymore, but I welcome any He will be our best Premier League striker when his time here is over.
