Yep and it's been allowed to be established as the norm and everyone that deviates from the desire to fully commit and partake is ostracised and berated.

If I happen to find any way to retire I am absolutely doing it.

I'm now in my 40s, but realistically still have another 20 year's of being stuck at work. If I'm really lucky that might drop to 15, if I'm unlucky that could be 30 plus.

    Absolute joke.

    @T-Dog

So because I have absolutely nothing better to do other than work (yuk) I've ran the following 10 years worth of Rumbles.

Some scary numbers in there and over a third of 1995 field are now deceased.  Even 2000 trumps 1993's total.

            Year      Deaths
    1994 7
    1995 11
    1996 5
    1997 6
    1998 3
    1999 7
    2000 7
    2001 3
    2002 3
    2003 4

My next task is to find the most recent Rumble with all 30 participants still alive.

I'm kinda surprised Hulk Hogan is still going based off his 'vitamins' usage,  lifestyle and health issues.

Entry for next year's deadpool if I ever partake.

  3. Being worried and annoyed about how other men make you look and if they give you a bad name, doesn't suggest masculinity to me, it suggests insecurity and a lack of confidence. Which is ironic as they would traditionally be the opposite of supposed manly traits.

I don't understand how there are people who voted for him in 2020, then watched him try to destroy the democracy their country was founded on, plus the odd criminal case, and now say they are still voting for him. According to the charts above he's retained nearly all of his base from prior to the Treason.

I dont understand why he is even able to run for office. He should be in prison.

He would have prevented it by extending slave owning to the northern states. Job sorted.

Nope. Trump loves African American's. As evidenced by all the (AI generated) pictures his followers have been releasing of him hanging out with them.

WASHINGTON —  At first glance, images circulating online showing former President Trump surrounded by groups of Black people smiling and laughing seem to be ordinary campaign photos, but a look closer is telling.

Has anywhere done that though? Seems you’re getting pissed off over some throng you’re creating in your head

There's an article on BBC titled 'How Tottenham's tactics blunted Villa' with a big picture of Ange smiling. Not sure what it actually says though as no intention of giving it a click. We lost 4 nil at home, so not sure we can be upset if they say we lost the tactical battle, we clearly did.

Start of shorts season today, unless it's an office visit then that will be it until November. Saltrock and not some over priced Instagram shit.

    Shorts season lasts all year.

Weird not to mention that spurs play us though,  in what should be the match of the weekend given the relative positions and implications of the result. It probably isn't a conscious ignorance of us,  just a fact that we've been nowhere until the last 14 months and so there's no real wider interest in us.  Have a run of 4 years in the top 6 and we'll be talked about like spurs.

Liverpool vs City in a top of the table clash is clearly the game of the weekend.

I just found out that Albert Einstein was a real person.

All this time, I thought he was a theoretical physicist.

Much more likely to be account takeover, not malware on  a phone. If it was malware on the phone, it would effectively be a zero day and AV wouldn't help.

There is zero value having av on a phone as long as you keep the os and apps up to date.

The (outsourced) cyber security guys who updated her set up suggested it was malware. However, it was year's ago and I wasn't that close to the actual cyber stuff, just talked her through whether she needed to report the breath to the ICO (she did) as customer data was breached. If I can't get my wife to keep security apps on her phone do you think I can get her to update her apps when needed?

i agree but I have the same issue as @Rds1983 in that all my pals use WhatsApp.

It's a difficult enough battle getting wife to have antivirus/malware and a vpn on her phone and that's after my sister in law's business was hacked via a breach on her phone (suspected virus via Facebook) and they lost over £20k.

Interesting chat on holiday with people mocking a data scientist I know who refuses to use whatsapp after facebook bought it in favour of signal.

If you're one of those who thinks it's unimportant that companies, governments and organisations are collecting fairly innocuous data on your internet use, like those on holiday, then this is a great little chat with Carissa Veliz. I'll be sending links to my friends

I'm sure it's available on your podcast supplier of choice, here's a spotify link.

I quite like the philosophy bites podcast.

I would gladly never use WhatsApp ever again. However, it's impossible to get any of my friends or family to move to a different messenger service.

    No need to apologise :D

I haven't watched the whole thing yet, but the original was so good that they were bound to not stick the landing in places.

I agree the casting looks good, and so does the bending.

Just as long as it's better than the movie they're onto a winner.

    We.......

    1. Read and write English to a reasonable standard

    2. Have a birth year beginning 19 or 20

    3. Have seen or felt the sun

    4. Are aware of Aston Villa,  Coca Cola, Disney and Microsoft

    5. Are related (if we go back far enough)

Kinda feel that 2, 3 and 5 fall under the basic human elements that apply to everyone.

1 has already been joked about.

Guess 4 would be correct and the 2nd one I'd agree with as I reckon we all would know those companies but there would be people out there who don't.
