Unless we get a takeover with a new manager , much of this squad is going to change. Hopefully if we do get a new manager and a bit of funding , the new manager will realise that 90% of the squad is just not good enough , simple. The only ones we should be looking at keeping are guzan , vlaar , okore(going on reputation) , Delph , benteke , with maybe a few others used as squad players . Worst squad I've seen at villa in the 27 years I've been following , woeful .

No. Part Mc Cleish, part other. Going to the villa sometimes this season has felt like a chore, rubbish football, rubbish matches, rubbish atmosphere. I feel like i have better things to do on a saturday . Football in a whole is ruined and is going out of control. Over paid players/managers/refs . Definate 100% no way.

What planet are people on ? Really ? To say that Albrighton has only had one bad game, what games have you been watching ? I agree with the first post, he is a very average footballer. He started off his career here great, but has done what a lot of our youth players do and head in the opposite direction. He has been poor this year, and i can't think of a good game he has had, or are people thinking of Bristol as he scored ? Don't get me wrong, he has alot of potential, but rarely wants the ball, runs in the opposite direction of the ball and gets completley lost in every game he plays in. Think when we play him it's a waste of a player on the pitch. Couldn't care if he trys hard or loves villa, by all means he does. But he needs to get a lot more involved in games, make some better runs and look like he wants the ball. Rather than running away with his sleeves over his hands every game. Hope he does prove me wrong, but on this seasons performances i can't see him staying in the top flight much longer.

For all the people who like a little flutter, some great odds on villa this evening. I know it's unlikely we will even score, let alone win, but hey ho. Villa half time Spurs full time 25-1 with skybet.

General, Firstly my apologies to you for having your next visit to the site reading all of this, i know both you and Randy are doing great things for villa and i thank you for that. Unfortunatley after having a season ticket for the last 10 years and following villa home and away for stupid amounts of money i rarely attend anymore. I am 22 and trying to save to get on the property ladder is hard enough without the manager of your football team spunking your money up the wall, because after all, that is what GH is doing isn't he ?? He literally is just throwing our money (Which Gen, No dis respect to you, but the majority of this board have to work very hard for an average wage). This season is the first season i stopped going down(although i have been to 6). Now, i'm no better fan than any on this board, infact i am probably worse than most having give up last season. I stopped because i spent ridiculous amounts of money following villa in europe and MON decided at the last minute to field a weakened team and quit. I was angry and appalled, that the general public of which do not earn yearly what these people earn weekley were spending hundreds/thousands of pounds letting that clown throw it away. It seems that i was just coming round to returning next year , i have missed football alot, a hell of a lot. Until yours truely Mr GH decided to do that tonight. 90 Mins away from a quarter final draw against Reading and he has given in, i mean, for **** sake, You are going to face one of the big 4/5/6 teams on your route to the final, and if you don't want to play them, then rest your players at the start, don't just randomly decide you want to quit. General, First ever comment on this thread, Having read it all the way through. I'd just like to say how sorry i am that you have to read the crap on this thread. I for one, would like to say Thankyou to both you and Randy on the running of this club, and the investment and time you have put into it. I can remember the days of O Dreary and Ellis, what a change you have made. I thank you for being the finest owners in the prem. Forget all this Billionaire 170k a week nonsense. Short memory. First half we were the better team. Deserved the lead. First half we were just as bad. We created nothing what so ever, i watched it on telly so maybe part of my view point is coming from there. But IMO We were lucky not to have 9 past us today.
