  1. Scraping the barrel now. That is a giant anteater, and NOT an aardvark.
  2. Do you seriously believe that? Believe what? Never mind, I was just messing around responding to your post as though you were trolling but not being blatantly obvious.
  3. There's no historical evidence that Christ wore a belt when riding His bike.
  4. I can't decide whether the limited punning potential of the name Remi Garde is a good thing or a bad thing. Certainly thus far it doesn't seem to be stopping anyone from trying.
  5. In superb VT style you've written off our new manager before he's had his picture taken. Ridiculous. We don't know whether he's had his picture taken yet or not. Pure speculation.
  6. Plus a face that everyone would look forward to seeing every week.
  7. Likewise. This foreign geezer will start with a clean slate at least. Rodgers or many of the other possibles would have had 30% of fans against them from the beginning.
  8. Nothing to see here, just a bit of New Contract Syndrome. He's human, and so the part of his brain that makes him work extra hard has gone to sleep a bit. Drop him for a few games and if his replacements don't perform, he can come back with a bit more purpose.
  9. Pah! I'll raise your Pah! with a Gah! I shall call yeour bliff with an enoourmous Hohehaw!
  10. Yeah I also found that a bit baffling. I've been basing my explanations for the Grealish and the team's poor performances on the assumption that they couldn't wait to see the back of him. A bit of a worry imo. Because Sherwood showed belief in Grealish and gave him his first real run in the side. It's not baffling at all Yeah, apparently Sherwood loved Jack, played him in most games, so no wonder he's upset. Yeah, true, although it was obvious to all but Lambert that he should be given a chance. Grealish and Benteke's form are a big part of what made Sherwood look good last season.

  12. I am a bit of a rocket polisher who specialises in repeating puns that weren't that funny to begin with. So be on your Garde.
  13. Canal Football Club ‏@CanalFootClub Rémi Garde devrait être le prochain entraîneur de @AVFCOfficial #CFC Seems like it's done.. Interesting. He gets my backing but I now longer find it hard to believe anything good can happen with us. Yeah, I don't know a thing about him, but just being the Aston Villa manager would suggest he's a "useless clown". Garde Out.
  14. If Garde has half a brain then this must be true. I know very little about football tactics, but I know enough about people to know that Sherwood has said some stupid, untrue, and counterproductive things about the Villa players.
  15. Really Maq, criticising the innocent childhood victim of a tragic accident? An innocent child! You disgust me and your sort make me puke. Bllllaarghhhh...
  16. Hell, I don't expect the club will be pleased about it, but...
  17. Yeah but we want to give the time to someone who seems worthy of it.
  18. Now that Lambert has had the chance to get his head back together, I'd have him back as a 3rd or 4th choice, provided he agreed to maintain a competent and complete management team around him.
  19. Shut your ******* face uncle-******. I just wanted to say it. (er, )
  20. Preferably on a baseball messageboard far away from VT.
  21. I think GG being billed as our potential saviour is nothing more than Sherwood saying "These players you bought me are so rubbish I'm having to use academy players to try and save you from relegation." The club might indulge him while they find a replacement, but I think they'll see through it. Still, it'd be great if GG really is all that.
  22. TBF Bruce Forsyth would have all the attributes that Bob Bradley lacks.
  23. I agree. It'd be nice to have a real livewire who knows how to win games, but to find someone like that we'd have to raid the Champions' League clubs or find someone that 90% of fans would say was too risky. It would have been better if Time had turned out to be that manager, but oh well.
