I just hope Richardson/lescott/Gabby/bacuna don't start!!! Bacuna for me is what mikel is for Chelsea. I no he is more of a wide att player but he can be used as an extra body in the midfield to see out a game. The others well time is up. Amavi/Veretout/ ayew/Gil/kozak/Traore/Gana given a good chance to seek the winning formula.

Guzan Hutton Richards Crespo Amavi Sanchez Veretout Gana Gil Ayew Sinclair For some reason I want gestede in the team but can not put him in place of Gil/Ayew/Sinclair, so to come off the bench as an option, or kozak to be given a chance. Veretout has done very little to get a game but I just want him to have a chance. Traore and Grealish are other options that I would not mind in place of others.

I just hope we get stuck in to them. I was watching the Spurs game with my mate who supports them and said,the only way we was going to get anything out of the game is if Spurs got complacent. Well nearly until the third goal went in! So with that in mind lets suprise them and us and go for it. Even if we lose I just want for now some desire and direction.

At the moment I believe he will be shown up with better players around him. The better players don't need others to show there best on the field. To some extent I agree, but I think of Berbatov when Alex Ferguson was laughing at him on the bench skulking. Now he had/has talent, but fergie was making a point, yes your good but I want more! I hope Garde finds the way for him because right now Villa need that to happen.

I'm sorry but he needs others around him to step up. He is a kid with talent. Put him with other good players he will shine. Put him with crap he will be the same crap. That is the type of player he is, a luxury if you will type of player, not a worker or grinder. Some say Gil is ahead of him or should be, I say put them together and let them flourish.

From what I have seen of Veretout he is similar to cleverly. He needs a manager who can utilise him. I do agree with what people are saying about Gana. He is a good player and has been the best I think of the midfielders so far. But my madness is simply that for this game that is what I would do and it would be Veretout who I would replace by Gana at the time stated.

Take the game to them ,they would not no what hit them . keep that up for 55-60 mins then Veretout,Ayew,Traore off Gana,Westwood,Gabby on. With the subs on the energy levels and pace is back up just in time, then counter. For this game I think Gana needs to be on the bench,because he would not be able to keep up the pressing all game and would be a huge impact when he comes on. If Veretout is ok fitness wise then Gil or Grealish to come off instead depending on form/fitness/carrying out instructions. If chasing the game then Gestede with gabby to come on together and just go direct. I'm not a manager,but surely with these players and having a plan similar to this ,week in week out with little tweaks here and there ,we could/should have a good season not the words removed we have been unfortunately watching!!! Not at the standard we would need him to Villa never seem to last out in a game. With that in mind that is why I would go with this plan gana has been the better player so far and I would always try to have the better players from the start, but a 100% Ganain the last of the game would give us that bite we would need in the final part of the game. Just my opinion!

Last time Jose had problems and got the sack at Chelsea, was it not Villa the last of his games? If and that is a huge if, we could do them, then maybe he's off again.

I have been on Sherwoods side so far! But the two games that stick out for me are Leicester and Stoke that have changed my mind. Both games we should of won imo for different reasons, and the two games were obvious in the way of what to do tactics wise. But he got it so badly wrong and at this level you can't get away with it. Even with the new players and all that settling in, I can not excuse those glaring mistakes.

Got to start with 3 man mid,Sanchez on coutinho,high tempo game don't give them any time. Grealish and Sinclair with ruddy start,then ayew and Gil on for Sinclair and ruddy. Having said that I think Gil should be starting instead of Sinclair, but scotty does come up with goals but does less in a game, tough one to call.

Good performance from the lad, him and Jack changed the game and at last Tim changed things for the better. This was always going to take time.Still lots to work on,but this lads performance tonight gives me hope, with other players to come back that we can have a positive season.

Berbatov Old no pace loads of ability or gabby loads of pace little ability not sure witch I would prefer,some on here may say neither but as a last resort it is better than nothing!
