  1. you can't just compare 1 year can you, It isn't a complete like for like, It can & does vary by hundreds/thousands every year The uk march 2020 total is more than march 2019, but is hundreds less than the 5 year average
  2. i know, didn'y say it did but there is a chance that that sort of condition will eventually at some point lead to, or at least play a part in your demise. Now this may well usually be in 10/20/30 years but it seems that this virus is causing it to happen now for a lot of people.
  3. Looks like nearly everyone dying already has something that could potentially lead to their death and this is essentially flipping the switch and causing a worst case scenario for everyone at the same time. Looks like the best "cure" going ahead is avoiding things that lead to heart/respiratory issues so healthy diet, exercise, don't smoke & keeping weight down should at least help give you a fighting chance. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-52308783 More than nine in 10 people dying with coronavirus have an underlying health condition, figures from the Office for National Statistics show. The ONS looked at nearly 4,000 deaths during March in England and Wales where coronavirus was mentioned on the death certificate. In 91% of cases the individuals had other health problems. The most common was heart disease, followed by dementia and respiratory illness. The average number of conditions those who were dying had was 2.7.
  4. Another one for the single figure views on youtube album collection... Some of the indie kids may like this but it does actually have a bit of variety. maybe a little too much variety in places, almost sounds like a covers album at times, track 2 killers song, track 3 coldplay song., track 4 better oblivion community centre song... Couple of songs below but the whole album is on youtube. buy it if you like it or something
  5. Now gone completely & Doubt it will be back for round 3 anytime soon. The XFL -- Vince McMahon's pro football league -- has officially filed for bankruptcy ... just days after folding the league, TMZ Sports has learned. A league spokesperson tells us, "The XFL quickly captured the hearts and imaginations of millions of people who love football." "Unfortunately, as a new enterprise, we were not insulated from the harsh economic impacts and uncertainties caused by the COVID-19 crisis." "Accordingly, we have filed a voluntary petition for relief under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code." "This is a heartbreaking time for many, including our passionate fans, players and staff, and we are thankful to them, our television partners, and the many Americans who rallied to the XFL for the love of football." https://www.tmz.com/2020/04/13/xfl-bankruptcy-league-fold-millions-lay-offs/
  6. may aswell just watch the other 2 as you have watched 8 out of the 10.
  7. Tried it as it is on gamepass. Used to love these games & grew up playing the early manager games on c16/c64 but haven't really got the time now and they now feel that they are far more complicated than they need to be. Decided to just start as liverpool spent 100 million on grealish & traore. They are now quite frankly terrifying in midfield/attack with my modified 3-4-3. Played 11 league games won all 11, scored 37 & conceded 1. Also won all other cup games. Villa have 6 points & are 19th. Into November & the defenders are starting to get a bit tired playing every game. They really are quite thin at the back so will have to try & beg some more cash in Jan or sell some of the 15 or so midfielders that make up my 25 man squad. I will actually finish the season but that will probably be enough for me in all honesty.
  8. it does get slightly better, Only slightly but it does improve. Big Show is reasonable enough in it but he's quite sweaty under studio lighting & hobbles around rather a lot
  9. Sure is, Yet strangely i sat & watched them all..
  10. This is out now, not bad for a cobbled together in a week with iphones during a pandemic thing
  11. No you're right, Scotland & Wales are some of the worst countries in the world for ICU beds per capita...
  12. The culture is different but the main thing with South Korea seems to be the testing, They were testing 10,000+ per day back in Eary/mid feb so people knew if they actually had it. Over here everyone is completly clueless, Thousands of people will have been self isolationg for nothing more than a sore throat, assuming they are now fine and going out and catching it
  13. Wales & Scotland have both done the same things, at the same times as England. England has thousands of deaths, the others do not. As all 3 countries are physically connected The only real difference is Number of people & population density....
  14. doesn't work like that though does it, Irelands less than 5 million people are pretty spread out, only 71 people per square km on average & not getting millions of international travellers every week In England that figure is close to 450 per square km, The UK as a whole 274 per square km. In greater London, An area with a population of 2 million+ more than Ireland there are around 15,000 people per square mile 1 person in Ireland gets it they probably aren't going to give it to that many people, 1 person in London gets it they can in theory give it to hundreds/thousands simply getting to & from work on the tube Ireland population & density are both very similar to Scotland, Scotland has closer to 500 deaths but guessing this being a little higer can be down to being closer to large populated areas of England & more frequent travel between
  15. Doubt it, Mclaren did the same a week ago, Williams & racing point have also done the same for large sections of staff. and F1 themselves (Formula one group) furloughed half of their 400 uk staff this week
  16. appears to be idiot copper but also guess there may be more to this. A house round the corner from me has chalked out a huge hopscotch grid all down the pavement, well over 20m long that extends into their garden. Went past earlier and there was 5 kids & 3 adults in and around the garden, Their next door neighbour & their kids were also sat in their garden and was obvious the kids were all playing together & the parents having a natter, The neighbour opposite them was also on their driveway with the kids again playing in the street. In reality they probably aren't doing anyone any harm but if 1 of them has it then there is a good chancwe that at least 14 of them have it now...
  17. Given that it is now 24 days since i thought there was a fair chance i was going to croak from this and it still kinda feels like it may well be in the balance i really couldn't care less if someone if monitoring my every move. In fact i kinda wish they were right now so Bill Gates if you're reading and want to inject me with some of your tracking nanobots give me a call...
  18. Well i guess i wouldn't want to be the dude referenced on the shirt & in case it isn't obvious the guy on the right is Peter Weller (robocop)
  19. Perfectly serious, Honestly have nothing to hide/fear so why would i care. Amazon/my bank & online stores already know all of my shopping history & prfereences, google/ms/samsung already know all of my interests & every single random thing i have ever looked at online, The thing on my wrist measures every single step i take, knows where i am, what my heart rate is, when i go to bed & wake up + how much i have been sat on my arse today, my phone is always in my pocket & combined with the watch i can in theory already be pinpointed pretty accurately down to the immediate area, Hell the central heating thermostat knows what time i get home & what temperature i like in the house.. This is also coming from someone that is actully reasonably anonymous online. I don't have facebook/twitter/youtube/any sort of social media etc with any of my real name associated/visible If you are online/have a phone & think you are not being monitored/tracked in some way you are very much mistaken
  20. far from proper decent CCTV on every single street/corner though isn't it. Hell even most shops inbternal cctv looks like it was shot with a motorola flip phone. Facial recognition cameras would be a lot more accurate over time with HQ cameras quite literally everywhere, Combine this with tracking peoples phones or even better internal microchips to track everone & i imagine it would be pretty reliable
  21. Think i am obviously one of the few but i have no issues at all with stuff like that, Chip me, track me, listen to my phone calls/alexa. Have 8k cameras & drones covering every single street i really don't care & not just as a response to anything virus related. Go back 6 months & would gladly say the same about general every day life.
  22. I think some peoples complete anti tory/anti brexit views blinker people to how popular/liked he actually is amongst the general population. Maybe that nice but dim, child rugby tacking, stuck on a zipline get brexit done bit of a toff bellend but right in the shit with us is kinda what people need to feel a bit better about the current situation
  23. Not sure it's so much that really. If you are in the supermarket/shop for your food, bog roll & paracetamol and end up buying a plant, a bottle of wine & some other random things i don't think anyone really cares but when people are going out specifically just to buy the plant/tin of paint/picture frame, bottle of wine etc it isn't really an essential trip is it. Tabloids are full of pictures of people with trollies full of just compost, plants, home decorating stuff. I know people still need to do stuff during the time off but it isn't a gigantic bank holiday and some/lots of people are taking the piss Guess the moral of the story is if you are going out to buy some needless shit buy some food too...
