  1. Last leg of journey into town. Loving it, petrified, buzzing, nervous. Ah sod c'mon Villa!
  2. For various reasons I shouldn't be going today but couldn't resist. On the train now and will get into town just after 6. Not sure what the weather is like up there but it will be interesting to see how the ref handles the first 10 minutes.
  3. Nearly had that monumental cock up in record time, as she's been a bit worried & done a pregnancy test today Thankfully it was negative.
  4. I always find dating a nightmare. I go through spells of trying and likewise the girls I like aren't interested and I'm not interested in the ones that like me. I usually just get really pissed off for various reasons and sack it of for a while. Getting by with the odd one night stand and a few short lived things, it's been a while since I've been in a proper relationship. I met someone two months ago and for now things seem to be going very well. Still early days but from my experience, while its no good not doing anything about it, don't try too hard and something will come up. While things are going good at the moment, I'm fully expecting to update this thread having monumentally cocked up or she turns out to be a little crazy
  5. Got my ticket today. I'm not guaranteed I can go though, it depends on whether I can finish work early Tuesday and start late Wednesday. I'm coming from Bath so will have to stop at parents as I have no way of getting back on the night.
  6. He should have complained about short measures on the cider. I thought I actually wrote glass in there as well You never got away with being short anyway, it had to be brimming to pass without comment.
  7. I worked on a bar where a Saturday night regular sometimes poured a glass of red wine into his pint of cider. I've never been tempted to see if he is onto something.
  8. I put the pic in off topic but hadn't noticed the text with the tweet
  9. I HAVE HAD IT WITH THESE MOTHERF*****G SNAKES ON THIS MOTHERF******G PLANE
  10. Apart from what ever shit they followed it up with... Sorry I know I upset at least one person here. Stereophonics are at least in the running for the worst band ever though. I quite liked Word gets around when it came out, but had a couple of mates that never stopped playing it, which ruined it for me. There aren't many bands from that came out of that era that I have regularly listened to since, apart from SFA. Though I do go back in occasionally for albums & songs that I loved at the time. Cast are playing in Bath in November so tempted to go see that.
  11. My girlfriend works for an animal charity and the main part of her job is regarding re-homing dogs. So I completely agree with you, and from stories of some of the homes she has visited, it should go for children also.
  12. I've never been his greatest fan, even in his prime but if it goes through his experience will be useful to have around. He adds to an attacking threat from set pieces as well.
  13. 45 now and never had it ... my kids both caught it a few years back so I kinda expected to get the dreaded Shingles but it never materialised .... but yeah I've heard it can be bad I don't think you can get shingles without having had chicken pox previously and I'm not sure you can you get shingles from Chicken pox? I know it works the other way round though because when I was about 13 I got shingles and gave my Nan chicken pox as she'd never had it before. I'm certainly no doctor so could be wrong though.
  14. Surely putting the ball in low is just being sensible because of the speed he is often travelling at. It's a lot harder to hit in a pin point cross at that speed, playing the percentages a bad low cross is going to cause more problems than a bad one put in the air. We do however need to make sure we've got players busting a gut to be getting to that near post and of course it's no good just doing low crosses but it seems like the right thing to do for me.
  15. It would stop him scoring against us if nothing else.
  16. I was in a gym once while Amy was there, bent over In front of me. It was one for the bank later
  17. I doubt there will be much of a criteria other than booking history.
  18. Only just noticed the draw. As much as I'd like them to rot and disappear completely, I can't help love the derby. Not always come the end, but the build up tension and atmosphere come match day is a great experience. Not living local this time the build up will be a bit different for me but will make the effort to get to the game if I can work it around work.
  19. There will be a cooling off period won't there so you could cancel? Or is that just mobiles?
  20. British Sea Power love their random venues. I once saw them in a cave.
  21. They best not activate the buy back just because we are drawn together in the Champions league in 2 years time
  22. Nope, but here's a representation of how it anyone under his powerful gaze would look like instead: That's how Tim gets the new players to "prepare him" for the facial. I now have an image stuck in my head of Sherwood hypnotising players by doing the helicopter in a dark room with a glow in the dark condom on.
  23. Think the invites stopped a few seasons ago. Just need to be a season ticket holder now.
