  1. After a shit day/week, nipped into a pub on the way home and a refreshing pint of Wild beer, Fresh. Now off till Wednesday!
  2. I hired a Mustang when I was in Miami. A lot were probably rentals like mine but they were very common on South Beach, much more so than a fiesta here. Although it was also cheaper to rent than it would be for a fiesta here. As for the car itself, I liked the Mustang but I don't think I'd get one if I had the choice.
  3. I'm in a bit of a tricky situation as I'm at the stage where I'd like to move in with my girlfriend and she wants me to move in too. Currently financially it is not realistically possible, as it would actually cost me much more to live with her than it does now. Things hopefully will be changing soon, I just don't have a timescale. It could be 3 months, it could be a fair bit longer. I just feel a bit shit that I can't be more definite. We've not even been going out a year yet so it's not like I've been putting her off for ages. It is the only option as it would put the relationship under too much pressure if I moved in and had no money. Hopefully it's not going to be an issue but it is a concern I have.
  4. Had a couple of bets on Diego Du Charmil, which saved the day.
  5. My bus is late and the girl next to me sounds like she was taught to speak by Stephen Hawking.
  6. Only bet £20 for whole day and thought I'd got nothing back but somehow I missed Un Temps Pour Tout won so had £66 waiting for me in my account.
  7. I'm starting to change my mind on whether I want Remi with us next season and it's not really to do with his a ability as manager. While a risk in itself and I'm not sure how realistic it would be to do, but we need wholesale changes with as little as possible from this season to remain. It's going to be hard to have any sort of positive outlook at the start of next season with how bad we have been this season, hanging over our heads.
  8. Erm.... Peter Andre in Bristol on Wednesday. A birthday present for my girlfriend which has backfired as it looks I'm going to have to go with her. I definitely won't be driving.
  9. I suppose it varies but generally yes, it's good when an album feels like a piece of work as a whole rather than a collection of songs.
  10. I always really struggle with the what music do you listen to question, and while its not as diverse as some on here I listen to a fair range. I listen to a lot of Reggae & Dub at the moment then various forms of electronic music not so much the really experimental stuff, some indie, rock, punk, blues. That's what I like about the various music threads on here. People post things you've never heard. Sometimes I like it, sometimes I don't, sometimes it needs another chance and sometimes it leads you on to other things through recommended similar artists on Spotify, YouTube etc. Its good just to see what others listen to and then make your own mind up through exploring.
  11. When it comes to classical I have relatively no knowledge of it and never really given it a chance.
  12. The whole album is on there. Thought I'd have a look at widening my tastes a bit. Skipped through a few tracks and not so sure, but will give it a proper go some time.
  13. My girlfriends mum is anorexic. Since I've known her, her health has been ok but in the past she's put her body through a lot and been to hospital several times. It's very hard for those close to them. Attention seeking can be part of the illness and not necessarily regarding food or their weight.
  14. Haven't even considered about speaking at my Grandads but I think I need to, as I'm actually his closest relative as my Dad died when I was very young. Have no idea what I'm going to say.
  15. Cheers for the comments. He's been getting older and frailer and its realistically been a matter of when but even still it was a bit sudden. Although looking back, things he has said recently it seems like he knew his time was near.
  16. Sorry to hear that Stevo, thoughts are with you. I'm In a similar boat as my Grandad passed away yesterday morning. Stay strong.
  17. I hope the Richards acrobatic effort was improvised, the thought of them practicing that on the training ground has really pissed me off.
  18. On the subject of cucumbers, I know someone that munches on a cucumber like you would an apple.
  19. Great memories from my first ever festival.
  20. I also had a spoons breakfast this morning, a couple of pints then home to sleep for a couple of hours. Sorted me right out.
  21. Meant to reply earlier but cheers for posting, been commuting to work with my headphones on, nodding my head like I'm 13 again.
  22. Dem delves a bit deeper into his new found interest in costumes.
