I'd prefer to be going into the FA Cup with Gil in my side, one of the few players who can match the talent of the Arsenal team.

I have to say I think Sherwood will get smoked out next season. He's got too many favourites and yes men. If he can't see Gil's talent he should not be managing a club like ASTON VILLA.

Where is Carles Gil? Not even on the bench. To my mind Sherwood is not the man to take Villa forward if he favours a has been like Cole to Gil.

I'm not sure of the team selection. There is no way Gil does deserves to be left out. Is young Jack Grealish really the right player to mix it in a relegation scrap? 3 points but we were very fortunate.

If we don't have a good March we are down I think. The fixtures in April and May are quite tough. I'd like to see Gil back ASAP.

A lot more positive second half, more attacking of the goal and more support for the front man from midfield. Let's hope everyone gets a lift from this. A brilliant display from Shay!

These players need reassessing with fresh eyes. My view is give him a month to start playing some football where we actually create goal scoring opportunities. This is what needs to be addressed urgently. We also break like we're trying to turn an oil tanker round. Do this and things start getting exciting: the players regain their confidence: and the fans have something to cheer. Good luck Tim.

The squad of players we have are fundamentally good. We just need to find a style pf play where we create goal scoring opportunities. It's the lack of action in the final third which is going to be the priority for anyone coming in. We now have to grind out points away from home and start scoring goals at Villa Park. If we can get this sorted the blood will start coarsing through the player's veins.

No to Lennon for me. There's plenty of good English managers who deserve a chance, why do we need a foreigner trying to tell us how to play the game?

A good result will give the players some confidence. We've got to stay together now, the last thing the players and staff need is the supporters turning on them. They are trying to work it out. Get behind the team.

Whatever happens we need to have a very good March as April and May have some very tough fixtures.

I think we turned a corner v West Ham and I predict a 2-1 win.

I'm on the Greater London/Essex border. A friend of mine who goes to games lives in Chelmsford.

I have been following Villa this season and now try to attend all the games in the South east and London and some home games. I'm a big fan of Guzan and Given. My view of Villa this season is they will soon get back to winning ways. West Ham a vast improvement on QPR.
