We seem so much more of a threat from set pieces so far this season and if you add Benteke into that its going cause so much problems to teams, can't wait for the beast to return!

Not forgetting Barkley aswell.

I think overall we have had a good transfer window and made some good signing seeing as we haven't spent much. The most important thing in the window was keeping our captain Vlaar which imo was the most important thing overall. Hopefully now we can get Delph,Grealish and Vlaar's contracts sorted now and have a good season.

Id be gutted if we didn't bring in at least one signing in considering we have offloaded a midfielder today.

Only player I can see on that list that we could possible get is Salah, exactly the type of player we could do with.

I don't get this adds depth and competition, we should be looking at improving the starting eleven not adding players for the sake of it. I'm more than willing to give him a chance but there's so many better options out there that we could spend the money on. We desperately need a flair player who can unlock a defence and has great vision and I don't think Cleverly will provide that. The fact that so many Man united fans are so desperate to get rid of him pretty much sums it up.

Yeah fair enough he looked good at Watford and Wigan in the Championship but he's done nothing at all in the Premier league/Champions league that inspires me especially for 8 million.

Surely taking a punt on a player like Will Hughes from Derby would be a better option than an average Tom Cleverly?

What a waste of 8 million this would be, think some are automatically assuming that because he plays for Man United he must be a decent player when in reality he's so average and does not warrant a 8 million fee.

I personally think the only time he's looked good is when he's playing upfront with Benteke, they seem to have a good understanding of each other and link up well which brings out the best of him.

Think if we was to bring in a player would need to be one of quality to go straight into the first team, an average championship player just wouldn't make sense.

Would make sense for all parties and would free up space to bring in a central or wide player in before the window closes.

Any Horse racing tips for today?

The only player today who can come out with any credit. He was determined to make things happen and trying to drive forward whenever he had the ball. I'd be disappointed if he aint a regular from now as Weimann has been off form for a long time now.
