  1. Tottenham and Arsenal fans are both delusional why would anyone expect to trust anything they say regarding a players or a coach's skills? **** just a little while ago during the window they were all in their forum begging for Dembele to be sold and he ends up scoring in the next big match they play. They both think that somehow they deserve to be league champions despite rarely if ever paying anything compared what the top teams pay for players, not acquiring top level coaches, and having owners with small team mentalities.
  2. Well look Luis Muriel went over a year without scoring for Udinese under a shit coach and he was one of the most promising forwards of that generation alongside Benteke. He just scored his first goal in less than 30 minutes of playing time in his debut for his new team. A different coach can be like a new team for Benteke. He's still young and has a lot of time to come back to top form.
  3. "Equipo Ganador No Se Cambia" Sherwood will have a hard time picking a team but I reckon. Given Clark Okore Vlaar Cissokho Gil Sanchez Bacuna Sinclair Weimann Benteke Should be the lineup.
  4. I blame 50 Shades Of Grey. The corrupting influence it has on our youth is clearly on display.
  5. I think Lambert did a good job and made good signings. But at the same time I believe sometime this season he really gave up and started seeing this team as a lost cause. He was fighting with Lerner over funds. He was sick of trying to stay up with half of what other teams trying to stay up were using. He told Lerner this that's a issue of public record. He told Lerner to sack him. He was sick of it. Lerner gave him another contract instead. Either way the gut feeling Lambert had about the team affected the football on display quite a bit. It may have been conscious it may have been subconscious I can not claim to know if it was either. Something in all of this is extremely fishy and it seems to me something is quite rotten in the state or Aston Villa if Lambert felt so negatively about the state of things that it shook him as badly as it did.
  6. Sherwood's a shit coach though guys the worst and most deluded fans in England said so!
  7. This is gonna be a tough match. We need at the very least a tie but hoping for a win.
  8. WTF, Luis Van Gaal? this Luis Van Gaal? Managerial honours Club Ajax Eredivisie: 1993–94, 1994–95, 1995–96 KNVB Cup: 1992–93 Johan Cruijff Shield: 1993, 1994, 1995 UEFA Champions League: 1994–95 UEFA Cup: 1991–92 UEFA Super Cup: 1995 Intercontinental Cup: 1995 Barcelona La Liga: 1997–98, 1998–99 Copa del Rey: 1997–98 UEFA Super Cup: 1997 AZ Eredivisie: 2008–09 Bayern Munich Bundesliga: 2009–10 DFB-Pokal: 2009–10 DFB-Supercup: 2010 International Netherlands FIFA World Cup third place: 2014 Awards and achievements World Soccer Manager of the Year: 1995[93] Onze d'Or Coach of the Year: 1995[94] Rinus Michels Award: 2007, 2009[95] Dutch Sports Coach of the Year: 2009, 2014[96][97] Die Sprachwahrer des Jahres (3rd place): 2009[98] German Football Manager of the Year: 2010[99] The one who created the just incredible Ajax that last won the champions league for them? The one who's won trophies in 3 countries and managed some of the biggest teams in world football? Yeah actually I do think he's "good now". Back in the **** 90s. Do you know how much managing the sport has changed since then? He was considered a failure at Bayern when managed there. Lacklustre at Barcelona, and he's done a pretty horrid job at Manure. He is a coach that is far beyond his golden days. His strategies do not work in modern football.
  9. Once again. Who would you have signed? I have yet to hear one answer from anyone.
  10. In before they bring back Lambert as DOF.
  11. I would like to hear who you would have appointed.
  12. No matter how much people are going to bitch and moan there was no reasonable or realistic alternative to him.
  13. I think a more realistic choice if we stay up next year would be Rafa Benitez.
  14. Ok first of all "Hoddle says he has had 26 serious management offers but insists he will not return to management until the academy is able to run itself" How you expect someone like that to be realistic is beyond me. But he hasn't managed since 2006. Do you know how much football has changed since 2006? I can't imagine someone who hasn't managed in 9 years surviving in the modern game.
  15. Guys what did you expect it's not like there's a lot of options out there?
  16. I'm a pretty good manager i reckon howsbouts it fellers
