  1. It takes a lot for me to want a player off so early but i wanted him off within 20 minutes yesterday. Shocked he wasn't hooked at half time. Was a disaster. Diane has to start at the moment

Would it suggest there is something wrong if a season ticket holder (who didn't attend Boro) eligible tomorrow at 5pm on their AVFC ticket account when logged in and click on 'away tickets' can't see this game listed at all but a non-ST holder claret member (also logged in) not eligible until Wednesday 5pm can albeit with a 'coming soon' message?!

Same for me. Showing as coming soon when not logged in yet not there at all when i am

  3. I'm a ST holder and only got to Newcastle away this year thanks to someone else managing to get me one when one randomly popped up a few days after they had sold out. Cup games are usually the only time i can get an away ticket and most are our ties recently have been home then we get knocked out so can't wait for this. I already had a theatre show booked in London long before the Boro game was announced so couldn't go last week so really hope we have a good allocation for it. Can see the demand being big as for most people, only chance of going to an away game.

  4. I sit right at the front of the Holte where they do pre match warm ups and his heart was not in that. He was putting in the bare minimum. He did grin and wave to someone briefly who had a columbian flag but aside from that looked liked he'd rather be anywhere else and i was worried for him. Can't comment on the half time reports

At one point today (just before they scored today) 2 executive boxes in The DE got The Holte End singing.

Has this ever happened at any other ground I wonder?

Better not tell The Bluenoses though.

And then Fulham scored (i missed the goal as was laughing at the woman). The reply of "it's all your fault" was class though

I was annoyed that they played the music when Emi got to show us his trophy, I felt they could have turned it off so we could have serenaded him instead. I'm sure the holte probably tried, but from where I was in the trinity all I could hear was the music

That annoyed me too. I sit in the Holte and we were singing but it wouldn't have travelled far as the music was so damn loud

  7. As a ST holder i'm not going to this. My ST has gone up 62% in 2 years and with the European home games, i;d rather spend the extra money on them. Pricing just seem high for a mid week 3rd round league cup tie. I remember when i was little i would only go to cup games with my family as it was cheaper. Shame those days have gone.

  8. Most people won't care about this but can you ask why you can't get the goalkeeper shirt in a women fit? This has never been available and after all the coverage with the Mary Earp England shirt, i really hope the club can now follow suit and produce them. Mens shirt don't fit out bodies the same before anyone says just buy the mens one.

  9. I believe ST holders have until the 20th to claim their seat so i imagine a lot will pop up in the Holte for general sale. My seat is in the Holte but i've picked Trinity for this game for a different view but my usual seat is still "on hold"

  10. Went to the store today and picked up the shirt. I wasn't planning to but had pride rewards to pick up so had a look while i was there and it was much nicer in the flesh. I've got McGinn on the back and it fits fine. Numbers seem bigger this year though

  11. So the current sporting director at Sunderland was at Blouse when Jude was sold. Was raging at the deal as wanted more money for him but got overuled then not long after went to Sunderland. I know his wife and mother in law. Likely why Sunderland have gone for Jobe as will have a bit of family connection there already

well, for me next year you have an established murdering club in the top 4 alongside a liverpool side with a refresh and a chelsea side who can't possibly be this shit. So for me it's always strike whilst the iron's hot. There's absolutely no guarantee we'll be up in the top 6 mix next season. I would hope so, given manager plus investment, but its far from a cert, if we can get it this year, we have to take it

Exactly this. No guarantees in football. Sky 6 plus Newcastle could all be back to their best plus Brighton etc. We could also fall off so who knows. This could be our best shot and conference is winnable which is a ticket to europa league

It’s incredible the negativity of people - everything has gone up in price, it’s what it is!

We are having the most unbelievable run since January and yet people moaning.

We got owners who are the envy of 95% of the 92 teams in the English system. A coach who is “world class” and a team that is fighting tooth and nail for us!

It’s a business and we need to be run like one! If it means we all need to sacrifice little things in our normal lives to afford our season tickets then so be it. We have a waiting list of around 30,000 - therefore demand outweighs supply so in reality the owners could have bumped prices up an hell of a lot more!

Lets be grateful for what we got, sacrifice something little and back the club!

I probably wouldn't be as annoyed about this 15% rise this season if mine didn't go up 45% last season. It's a big hit in 2 years, with everything else going up in cost to. I'm fed up of people saying we cannot be annoyed about it.

  14. Mine went up 40% this season and now it'll be going up another 15%. Shocking. As people have said what they generate from match tickets is peanuts compared to other revenue but i suppose demand is there.
