  1. Could go any way today dependent on who we have fit and available, bothers me that they have Toney back (and Mbeumo I think), the wannabe zulu knobhead will be motivated today for sure. If we can get a goal up early on I think we’ll be okay, if not I can see it being a struggle, we’ve started the last few home games sluggishly whereas earlier in the season we were winning games in the first 25 mins or so, hopefully we can get back to that kind of performance.
  2. I owned a Nottingham Forest shirt, the yellow one with the black detail on the chest from the late 90’s, only other English club shirt I’ve bought/owned and did so because my best mate in school at the time was randomly a Forest fan (we were in South Wales), also went to a few Forest matches with him and his old man, who incidentally ran the junior football team I played for and we had an annual game against ‘Notts Forest Reds’ which was some kind of club affiliated junior side at the time.
  3. Da fuq, he was meant to be back in the squad last week and now he’s out for the season, that’s some turnaround.
  4. Well that’s only embarrassing if it’s a microdick….I’m thinking it might be something worse……
  5. What embarrassing / incriminating stuff did they have on him to ‘force’ him to pass on details for others, would be my first question.
  6. I guess if we do get the extra champs lge place that’ll mean 8th getting Europa conf place, assuming Coventry don’t win the fa cup which I think we can safely say won’t happen, so it’s gonna be a real bun fight for 6th-8th by the look of things
  7. This is new levels of luck for an already incredibly lucky team, Chelsea should be 3 or 4 up and go in level. Seriously, how effing lucky can one club get, gifted a goal at 2-0 down, when was the last time we got gifted a goal like that?!
  8. Olsen did well, naff all he could have done about any of the goals and looked pretty comfortable on the ball. Encouraging glimpses from Zaniolo, Rogers and of course Duran - who kept his cool and played largely disciplined, which is great because at least we know we can trust in him to deputise when needed. Thought Konsa did well up against Grealish, just a shame we didn’t get in at half time 1-1 following such a basic error.
  9. Damn shame to concede such a stupid goal after what was generally a fine 45 mins. Luiz giving the ball away and then the foul to tee up the free kick and Zaniolo being a coward cost us. We definitely looked tired toward the end of the half, unsure we can sustain it for 90+ but we do look decent on the break, the ball for Diaby in behind Gvardiol is on all the time (well, in those fleeting moment we have the ball anyway)
  10. In the context of Israel vs Gaza, of course they’re in a strong position, ironically enough it’s David vs Goliath, though roles reversed. In the wider context though I’m not so sure, if they put themselves into a situation where they lose the backing of the west and become isolated in the region then they could be in real trouble long term.
  11. I’d look to start Zaniolo over Rogers, if indeed it’s a straight choice between the two. Rogers has shown some decent potential but the weakest aspect of his game appears to be defending, Zaniolo might be able to apply a little more experience and maturity (might). Missing McGinn and Kamara will make a significant difference versus the home game earlier in the season I think, so I guess we’ll have to approach it differently.
  12. Tomorrow will go one or two ways I suspect, either he’ll score some batshit crazy goal or get sent off. His lack of discipline is a massive concern in a game where it’s highly likely we’ll see hardly any of the ball and he’ll be required to chase down hopeful punts upfield whilst pressing from the front the rest of the time, and I’m not sure he’s cut out for that (yet, at least).
  13. Every time I think I have an opinion on the wider debate I have to stop and remind myself that I’m neither trans or a woman, and I’m not sure if anything I think or feel is even relevant at that point. I understand some men would prefer to live as trans-women, I understand some women are keen to protect the sanctity of womanhood. Where you go from there I’m really not entirely sure any longer.
  14. It’ll be because that one chance they had probably carried an XG of about .90 on it’s own, given that they rate penalties as being 0.80 and this was markedly closer to goal whilst still being under little to no pressure, my best guess anyway.
  15. He really does need to stop reacting so much, it’s a matter of time before he’s sent off if he doesn’t improve on it and we need him, particularly if Watkins is missing now Oddly enough, and assuming/hoping he doesn’t get sent off, I think starting against City (if Watkins is out) might just work in his (and our) favour, just a hunch.
  16. Came on whilst they were 3-1 up, gave away the penalty (somewhat harshly) for their second goal, unsure of his role in the equaliser but given he’s a DCM he can’t have done his job too well, easily sidestepped by Barnes for the winning goal. Absolute horror show of an appearance.
  17. It’s all on him whether we sign him or not, if he continues impacting positively as he has done recently then he’ll give himself a chance, assuming he even wants to stay of course.
  18. Great result and decent performance, had we gone a goal down when wolves should have scored it might well have been a different outcome but once we got on top we largely stayed there. Both goals pretty well worked, yes the second was somewhat fortunate but had Konsa not mis-hit it into the net it would have been a nod-in for Duran. Emery looked angry when he came back out for the second half, and Kellyman looked surprised when he saw Duran getting ready to come on, probably reading far too into it but hoping Watkins hasn’t had a bust up with Unai at half time.
  19. Watching Wrexham vs Mansfield and Jordan Bowery has played across the whole defence, started at LB, moved to RB in first half and CB for second half. Hes just given away a penalty (which wasn’t a penalty, clearly a couple of yards outside the area) but my god, how did he ever pull on the villa shirt. I mean fair play to him but really, it’s a bloody travesty.
  20. Fingers crossed for QPR and Sheff Weds wins today, perhaps even Huddersfield too
  21. Noticed it myself earlier and stopped reading, guarantee if it were West Ham still in it it would be listed.
