I hate accounts like that, reports things that have been rumoured for months and then when it actually happens he retweets every tweet gushing about how legit he is. Based on what logic would Lambert be gone in the summer? From his perspective he knew what he was coming into and has towed the party line of the owner impeccably in keeping the club's head above water while the finances were brought back into order. From the owners perspective, the manager has done exactly as he wanted and based on his experience with MON and the post MON era, he must be thrilled he has got this semi capable dope on the rope doing exactly as he wants. Gone in the summer? Never gonna happen!

I have been a member of the Villa mailing list (email group) since its earlists days in the 80's. Living in Ontario, Canada the list was a great way to keep in touch with folks in the Villa region as to what the concensus was of all things "Villa". SInce then technology has moved ahead and the list is in its final days. It is sad in many ways but limpid, the long time administrator of the list, let it be known that he also has this forum and so I am migrating here. While I have moved around all over the globe and now live in the US, it seems that club itself is in about the same position it was in when I left Birmingham in 1978 - lots of promise, short of resources and not much in the trophy cabinet from recent memory - all so sad.
