Greed is a self feeding trait. Those who have the most almost always want more. That's why capitalism doesn't work for the planet or the people unless it's very strictly regulated.
The wealthy will plunder until there's nothing left to plunder.
It's government's role to regulate this. To re-balance. The tories don't do that. Grab all they can for themselves and their cronies until voted out.

Did the whole series over 3 days. Loved it. Didn't know anything about it before the show but did a bit of reading up on it beforehand. Entertaining, brutal, gripping and funny.

So I haven't watched anything on Prime for ages, whats the adverts like? Is the program interrupted every ten mins?
Tempted to go to the high seas just for this show so my viewing pleasure isn't broken up into ten minute chunks.
Yeah the ads are really brief and barely noticeable. Doesn't really impact at all imo.

The Labour Party's stance is now to actively mock *checks notes* the left wing.
The capitalist system stranglehold is there for all to see with that little clip.

So, massive political donor to the tories, Mohamed Mansour, Knighted by Rishi Rich.
I think at this point they've simply given up and are just doing what they can whilst they're still at the helm.

I always watch the feminine men chatting to the group of women outside school. The one, I overheard him saying his lad has to have his sugar puffs in the morning, an his clothes on the radiator warm, or else he don't want to go to school. My god they give us a bad name, croc wearing soft lads.
Anyone reacting moody to this, I'll take it your one of them.
Well, I'm in the right thread for this.
You do know it's AND, yeah? Because it's in every post you make, pretty much.

Not noticed the stammer as much as the slurring tbh.

Weirdly disney is one of the platforms I don't have a problem with. Prime and Iplayer I have had issues with though. That's all going through a firestick

I'm not saying that's a bad thing. But I think they'll be using whatever means at their disposal to make sure he's cognitively on the ball at these moments.
Not too dissimilar to Reagan is his latter years as president, who was clearly struggling at times.
Biden does seen to have had moments of confusion and verbal slurring/ mumbling.
I still think he's competent enough to do the job, especially given the alternative ...

I always thought it was very moving the way she almost met the residents of Grenfell and then almost got something done about Grenfell.
Came across as a true Tory. Full on Maybot. Not an ounce of humanity in there.

Brilliant by Biden at the State of the Union.
That’s Presidential!
Hard to use senile against him…
Four more years….
I'm genuinely sceptical that they might be 'juicing' him.

Just to echo all of the above, I've been on sertraline for probably 6 years now. Before that I was on citalopram for a couple of years. Sertraline definitely works better for me. Not really had any bad side effects from it. I've tried to come off it a couple of times but like someone said above, after about 3-4 months I was getting really low so went back on it (though this was during lockdown so maybe not the best of times to try it!).
But all in all, it's definitely benefited me. I'm on a half dose I think which is 100mg

Decided to rewatch season 4 of Fargo. I forgot just how good Jessie Buckley was in it.
I've done seasons 1 - 3 recently. Loved them all, but S2 probably the best. I think S3 is probably the most Coen Brothers-y of the 3.
Looking forward to S4 as I think Jessie Buckley is ace.

Let loose a world of pain and shit
I'm struggling to see how electing GG 'let's loose a world of pain and shit'.
He'll very possibly be gone within 6 months.
What this win does is send a clear message to the powers that be that people are not happy with their pussyfooting approach to the Israeli genocide.

Who voted for that total assclown Galloway?
I would've, had I lived in Rochdale. TBH I'd vote for almost anybody whose main campaigning thrust was 'stop the Israeli genocide'. It's pretty much a single issue win.
Yes, I know The double G is an arsehole. But I'd still have voted for him on the above basis.
-
Primarily on the Israeli genocide issue. Hopefully it sends a message to the main parties (which the tories will obviously ignore) that a tougher, different stance needs to be taken on that issue. The situation come election day will hopefully be very different anyway but he's reflecting current sentiment IMO.

I'd have voted for him.
