I've received an invite from my manager to attend a disciplinary hearing regarding the events I've mentioned. The main point from this letter betting: The purpose of the hearing is to consider the following allegations against you and to afford you the opportunity to provide an explanation: · Breach of professional code of conduct whilst on duty on 26th March 2019. · Failure to carry out a reasonable management instruction Under the disciplinary procedure, these types of incidents could be categorised as misconduct, which if proven, could result in a disciplinary warning being issued. This hearing is being held concurrently with another one to discuss my removal from the NHS contract and discuss alternative roles available. Looks to me like a slap on the wrist and having to move to an alternative role somewhere else.

Had a tandoori mixed grill at the Red Lion, it was on par with the New Talbot.

I work as a subcontractor for the NHS, I couldn't keep my mouth shut and have been removed from the contract. I have to have a meeting with my manager in the next few weeks to find out what's happening to me. A member of staff made a false accusation about me a few months ago, On the same night I made a pretty dark joke to an off duty member of staff who had shaved all their hair off. A complaint went in about both things and was investigated. A couple of days later the first staff member was bragging to someone that they had me by the bollocks and that was it for me not realising this person had witnessed the interaction they had complained about. The staff member is not allowed to work in the hospital anymore and it later came out they had done the same thing at a couple of other hospitals. fast forward 6-7 weeks and I'm getting a phonecall from my boss saying the client want me removed from the contract with immediate effect. I had annual leave booked for this week so I've decided to wait until it's finished before meeting my boss to find out what my options are. I plan on fighting my corner but I don't see it making any difference. I'm half resigned to my time at the hospital being over, I've updated my CV and started looking for another job. I missed the application cut off for Sandwell Hospital in the same role, but New Cross have just posted a vacancy. Is anyone familiar with New Cross?

If I had a pound for everytime I've heard a variation of this joke I could buy a 65" TV with the leads.

I haven't been to either yet so I can't comment on if they're good or not, but both depending on whether you'd class them as in West Bromwich the New Talbot and the New Hen and Chickens are good.

Going out for a meal on Tuesday for my mom's birthday. Was told where were going last week but had forgotten, remembered it ended in house and its in West Bromwich. Quick money brought up the smokehouse. Looked at the menu and saw a to mohawk steak or an Indian mixed grill, looking forward to it but I'll still be trying to decide when I get there. Had a call from the missus so I asked where it is we're going, the cookhouse. Miserable bastard that I am I'm not sure I want to go anymore.

My touchscreen stopped responding midway through writing a message while I was at work. Let the gaffer know I'd come down with something and would be leaving early and popped to the phone shop on the way home. Originally the plan was to book the phone for repair and lend one t=of the basic handsets while it was away. I noticed that they were knocking £400 off Pixels for some reason, my upgrade is in a few months so I have a Pixel 3xl now. Going through the details for the contract before they handed the phone over I had to wait for them to calculate my discount. A little confusion on my end as it's £400 off, what's the need to calculate anything. I was still in my uniform, apparently I get 25% off my call plan and 20% off accessories if I take in my payslip. I'm feeling better now too.

I switched to a 4 on 4 off 12 hour shift pattern around 18 months ago. It's draining but the days off are brilliant (unless you're like me and keep doing overtime). works out great for holidays too, 12 days off everytime I book 4.

Large mixed grill at the New Talbot in Black Lake. We had one each and it was a mistake, ended up bringing half of it home. Chicken tikka, methi tikka, chicken wings, lamb chops, sheesh kebabs and fish pakora. Also had 2 cheese and garlic naan and shared some Masala chips and poppadoms. £35.50. Very impressed.
