Oh dear. As I predicted midway through the second half. Yet another game we play okay for one half and brutal for the other. We are dreadful to watch. Should have been a penalty anyway for them for handball so don't think we can complain. We are just utter shite.

This is brutal on the eye. Happy with a 0-0 by the looks of it which means we'll lose 1-0

Newcastle are dire and they still look more likely to score. We've gone to sleep.

KEA and Westwood have been good though... Westwood has done what he's supposed to do. He's made a few good interceptions. When we get the ball in midfield, we never look a threat. It gets said every week. We should be at least one up by now though.

Shape is completely gone now. That should not happen just because of an injury. Hope Suarez does a cruciate with one of his dives.

Why aren't we changing things around? Subs Paul, use them.

When we cross the halfway line, it is comical to watch. No-one has a clue what to do. We either run away from the ball and hide, or run straight into defenders with the ball. Embarrassing stuff. It baffles me then that when we lose it, our defenders are all caught out of position-where do they go cos they don't support the attack in any way. Pathetic stuff. Need a bit more than Wes hoolahan I'm afraid!

Lots of support and lots of "Lambert out". I don't post often but love reading the threads. Personally, I'm going to jump up on the fence (from the "Lambert out" side I might add). The football has been absolutely brutal on the eye since the man took over (I'm not saying it was better before that, just in case I get hacked down for that comment). The only game in the last season and a half that I can say was good to watch as a villa fan was Sunderland 6-1, not sure if anyone remembers that ;-) Anyway, it's the new year so optimism over anything else, let's give the crew at the villa a month to get a few new faces (not shite from the Afghanistan second division) in and see if lambo can start climbing the table. Up the villa!

Lambo fairly dejected in the post match interview. Even if we had a bucket load of cash to spend in January, who would we realistically be able to sign that would improve us? Nobody in their right mind would want to join us at the moment.

So depressing. Every week. Painful on the eyes.

Probably a bit early to bring on subs to retrieve some respectability is it?

Jesus we must be the only team who go 2 down and then give the opposition all the possession they want. WelBeck looking like Messi against us. I feel sorry for those who forked out again to go to this game.
