the league is our bread and butter , the prize is playing champions league football and thats what every player wants , would you rather watch the likes of real madrid and ACmilan coming to VP next season or would you a trip out to the fa cup final , in 20 years time we could look back and history would show we'd won the cup back in 09 or we could get in to the champions league this season and with the extra revenue and lure of playing in the best club competion in the world we could really push on and cement our place as serious contenders and in a couple of years we might be able to start the season aiming to win four trophies in stead of hoping for a good cup run, maybe 4th if we're lucky and arguing which is most important

against boro, pompey and fullham i'd agree with you but yesterday was about their last ditch defending steve bruce was quoted as saying. "as the game went on, we had to show what we are about. I can't remember being under the cosh like that, and getting away with it." thats not our achilles heel thats just unlucky, one of those games your just not going to win!

hello general , 1st posting on here . think the way you answer on here is very refreshing a couple of things 1st up there seems to be a lot of negativity on all the different message boards about the lack of transfer activity but i'd like to think it's the minority shouting the loudest as usual , most people can see that the club is in very safe hands with MON and Randy the 2nd thing is how do you feel about the premiership having a winter break to go and play in mini tournaments across the world ? personally i think it's a bad idea what would be the point on adding extra games to our already very busy season , if we have a winter break it should be a break not a chance to line the pockets of the what is already the richest league in the world travelling half way round the world to play meaningless games just days after the busiest time of the season just doesn't seem right cheers general
