  1. Not so. He's had more than one heavy touch so far and just rescued it.
  2. He's on two forward passes, but still time yet for the hat-trick.
  3. In most professions, under-performers are summoned to their boss, written warnings are filed, reviews made and agreements put in place. The premier league footballer has his own way, it seems. Reading the rumour of Garde's imminent sacking, the insider quoted a lack of morale. None of this crap we watch each week should be about lack of morale. We're not talking about a factory floor where motivation is key to productivity and staff retention - some of these feckless idiots get tens of thousands of pounds for working a 25 hour week. They are supposedly doing something they love. Nowhere in the player's contracts will it state giving up is allowed at 2 - 0. Or if relegation looks likely. Lack of morale is not an excuse to stop running, stop tracking back; you're getting paid handsomely to do a job: just do your job, or walk away. I won't cut any professional player any slack. I feel sorry for Garde. Most of the time the manager takes the bullet, but for me, what we've seen this season rests with the players. Bournemouth players are a great example of how doing your job properly wins you respect - and your Premier League status. Bye-bye, Remi. I hope our next manager is afforded the opportunity to pick a player worthy of their professional status. You need strength and fight in the Championship.,,
  4. They scored two as soon as Lescott's name was on the teamsheet.
  5. I might get some Flak for jumping on him, but it was another Westwood shit pass to Gil that started their breakaway. That said, yup, Hutton can't be arsed today.
  6. I implore you to watch a replay of Westwood in the box for that fourth goal
  7. Please sign me up, Remi. I promise I'll be as shit as Gestede, and I'll do it for half the money.
  8. I honestly believe if we had 11 players possessing Ayew's spirit and quality we wouldn't be in half this mess. Unfortunately, we have 10 Westwoods alongside
  9. That has been said with far too much familiarity ....
  10. This is not the kind of game for weak-ass twinkle-toe players. Jack and Gil aren't for these battles: they're brushed aside with the slightest physicality. Bacuna and Veretout have been strong enough and are doing okay. Kozak and Traore on immediately, please.
  11. Agree - Clark will at least have a good game in amongst his howlers, but Lescott is filling his coffers this year.
  12. Didn't think he was as good as that: Veretout was in my eyes more influential. Westwood found himself in some good advanced positions today, but he doesn't know what to do there. I'll maintain he'll influence in the lower leagues. Just not in this one.
  13. After seeing Remi Garde throw a wobbly at our water boy yesterday, I think we have might have found another use for Westwood.
  14. Westwood brushed aside by Lukaku as if he was a 12 year old, then stood there watching the shitstorm in front of him
  15. KMac seems to suit Sherwood's body better, too
  16. I really can't see a goal in that team, can you? And, does Lescott have a clause in his contract which says he must play if fit?

    New manager

For me, one of the most important things that any new manager must do, is negotiate the hell of their deal and have a commitment from Randy to a sizable budget in January for a couple of real quality players. Start up front.
  18. Word has it Tim is considering this fella to solve our goal scoring problems.
  19. Can someone please tell me what Lescott was doing before the goal? All I could see was him jogging back, half-arsed, no care in the world.
  20. I'll suggest Guzan just played his last league game for Villa.
