  1. Sky Sports News reporting that Liverpool want to sell Carroll but he would only leave on loan.
  2. I think all this concern about Carroll's character is misplaced to be honest. Since signing for Liverpool, the one thing that hasn't been a problem is his behaviour off-the-pitch.
  3. Not even on loan? If he's available, I could see Villa being Liverpool's preferred option due to the potential for paying a large fee if it worked out and preferable to Carroll due to the size of the club.
  4. See what you're saying but isn't it a red herring? Limited ability players are limited ability whether they are from Liverpool or anywhere else. Carson and Carroll have nothing to do with each other. I agree that Carroll is Liverpool's problem but that doesn't mean he isn't somebody else's solution - I'm sure he is. Not necessarily Aston Villa's. Most likely Sam Allardyce's West Ham Utd in my opinion.
  5. As a Liverpool supporter, I see sense in Carroll moving on loan to Villa or another club willing to pay a sizeable loan fee and subsidise his salary. If he doesn't fit Rodgers' philosophy even at his best, his value will only depreciate further. Unless somebody offers £15m + (which they won't), i say farm him out to whoever makes the best offer and see where we are next summer.
  6. With Pako = Champions of Europe Without Pako = Zilch . No Correlation .? Jamie Carragher said himself that Benitez suffered when Pako left, he was badly missed by Rafa & the team. He even said it to me in the back of my car, but hey Pako was good as his job and he was popular. But he wasn't Peter Taylor.
  7. So a bin dipper can just come on here and call Villa fans "**** mugs" and expect a welcome party ? Give over . Well, I hadn't seen that. If it was in response to some of the rubbish he's had to put up with on here though then I'm not surprised. If otherwise, fair enough - not a very good introduction to make. It was in response to being called a fucktard. Not that anybody other than Brumerican cares.
  8. With Pako = Champions of Europe Without Pako = Zilch . No Correlation .? You're one of those people who doesn't know when they're beaten aren't you? You're one of those people who doesn't understand the term correlation. This is about pride, isn't it? You're not interested in the truth. So I'll take this opportunity to bow out of the discussion and the let the other site members review the evidence and decide for themselves.
  9. Go ahead. I need a laugh. As long as it includes two defensive midfielders, and nicking cup games on away goals, Rafa is in. At Valencia he was only a coach, did not buy players. Valencia spent BIG money and won the league in a period where Real and Barca werent, even recently relegated deportivo won the league. At Plop, when he was given full control they finished 7th. The guy truely is a genius. More myths. Seriously, do you want to know the actual truth or not? If you're interested, I'll tell you. Myths or things you believe to be different? If you have proof i'm all ears. If not then dont bother. No, I mean actual myths. Massive ones. Like Valencia outspending Real Madrid. That was the galacticos era. They spent more money than any club in history smashing the world transfer record several times.

  12. So your trophyless period of 2008-2010 minus Pako was better than your European Cup victory with him ? Interesting . I think I'd rather have that Pako fella running our club than vagina face. Mate, you've got no business calling anybody childish after this farce. Of course the CL victory was better but since when was a miraculous cup run any indication of progress? We finished 5th that season. Behind **** Everton. There's no correlation between Pako's departure and Liverpool's downfall. It's time to just accept it.
  13. And what did you win in 2009 besides a few one off games again ? :winkold: This is like pulling teeth. What do you think Pako was? Some kind of cup competition mascot? We finished the 08/09 season with 86 points. 2 league defeats. That would have won us the title this season. Pako was just the fitness coach. Does that compute yet? But when he left they appointed a new assistant? Sammy Lee
