  1. Warnock does have attributes, mostly that make him shitter so it would amaze me if there were any players in the Premier League that are as shit as Warnock, let alone twice as shit.
  2. This is what i said before, if we did get him, it would surely be to play left back, and he will be better than Warnock.
  3. Angel probably put us off going back into that market. Oi! explain yourself - and it best not be a pop at the Juan and only! Ha, it was a pop on Juan at other than one season been a bit of a waste of money.
  4. If we are in for Rose, it would be to play left back surely? And lets be fair, whether he is on loan or not, he will be better than Warnock.
  5. Angel probably put us off going back into that market.
  6. Well it's about as long since Hutton had a good game as it is Warnock so your comparison is bizzare, he's been shit for 2 and a half years so that "player" is well hidden, as he was only average before that. Warnock has to go down as one of the worst signings of MON's time in charge, when his contract runs out he will have cost us near on £16 million. Ridiculous for a shite left back.
  7. I think that N'Zogbia will start up front with Bent for the first game against West Ham, swopping with Holman and Ireland.
  8. Warnock was a complete liability at times and I find is very hard to believe that anyone could be as bad as he was at left back that we have in our current squad, his own goal attempts and passes to the opposition were unbelievable at time and you would have thought he had taken a bung he was that bad.
  9. Club have confirmed he's signed. 3 year deal
  10. Please let it be Warncok and Hutton.
  11. No we wont, he will have a loyalty bonus in his contract which we would have to pay out, for example Sidwell's was £1.5 million, but we don't have to pay up his wages for the year, that wouldn't make sense.
  12. Any transfer of Collins, or Warnock for that mater is going to take a while, as they are on high wages here, and it is extremely unlikely that anyone will want pay them the same, plus with the last year of their deals coming up they will be after the loyalty bonus that is no doubt in their contracts. I don't think we will get rid of them that easily, not even to MON.
  13. Another example is Spurs have a cap of 23.5 k with a capacity of 36k. However they also have a waiting list of 30k so not all clubs are like Norwich and sell out all their seats to season ticket holders. 28k was an estimate based on the Evening Mail article I've linked.
  14. This article in the Evening Mail claims it was 26k in 2009. link
  15. I'm pretty sure that we are no where near 27k. Don't we cap at the amount of season tickets we can sell at 28k? So we can of course have away fans in and home fans can buy tickets who can't get a season ticket. If we were anywhere near this number the marketing department would be wanking about it and stating that all season tickets were nearly sold.
  16. You would think Lambert must rate him highly to give him the captains armband. Obviously only a friendly, but there were more experienced players he could pick.
  17. Gabby is of course not in Yorke's class, but you of course fail to point out that 50 if not more of Gabby's appearances have been on the wing, but that wouldn't have made your stats so damning would it.
  18. Can anyone see Bent and Carroll working up front together? I can't see that working at all.
  19. Where does it say that on the Rennes site?
  20. Lets hope not as we need someone who can tackle.
  21. Couldn't agree more, he could have been sent off in every game I saw him play. Then again, Paul Scholes managed to have a pretty good career been wildely late in tackles so there could be hope yet.
  22. As has every other player that's been up against Warnock in the past couple of seasons.
  23. Are you going for the biggest backroom staff in the Premier League? Blue confirm that assistant manager Colin Calderwood, first-team coach Paul Trollope and chief scout Ewan Chester are all going. Couple of high paid tea boys?
  24. If you want the cheap prices, you can always renew today and then cancel before the start of the season, as long as the season hasn't started. If you are doing it via the payment plan, then you only have 30 days to cancel, well I know you can cancel within 30 days as i know a couple of people that did once McLeish was appointed.
  25. Still a long way to go here but I think that it's more likely Lambert was waiting on the Liverpool situation than us waiting on Martinez. For all we know, we could have had Lambert lined up but then Daglish got the sack.
