  1. Well something's going wrong in the engineering department. And as they are a manufacturer rather than commercial airline, I'm sure the pilots are mainly test pilots, reporting issues. Now I have know knowledge of the workforce, whatever the breakdown, but there is less confidence in them now reflecting in the 30% drop in share price.
  2. One may have 5000 more air miles than the other. So loads more experience. One may have had to handle malfunctions and dealt with them.
  3. Which is true in an ideal world. But in such large organisations, where your boss is getting hammered on quotas do you not think some people might just be looking out for themselves. And how does it work with one female and one black male. Is there some hierarchy.
  4. Us airlines have policies for hiring pilots on qutoas. Not the best pilots. So who would you rather fly with. The one that meets the quotas or the one with the best pilots Boeing has a self identifying questions to answer when applying for engineering jobs, and quotas to meet. That's not to say they don't get the best but why do they need that
  5. I know that but hes not been poached or anything. He's been here 5 years. It's not like the league have put out targets to find the right men.
  6. Well about a billion overdraft for a start then contracts with official boy paper and the like.

    Liverpool

They do seem to be running out of steam. Basically all there subs were kids.
  8. I think we should look at overseas refs and offer them positions. A bit like teams transfers. A prem ref makes over £100k a year up that by 50% it'll cost the FA less than a couple of mill. If the league buys the best players from around the world, why not the best officials. Also employ more technicians in the var room. At the moment it's a bit like watching a granddad using tiktok.
  9. Don't get down people. Remember for the last few years we supporters were going through similar things. Only then it was hoping man u would stuff Leeds or Liverpool would stuff Norwich or man c would stuff southampton, Christ even if Everton could get a draw with palace, it could save us. Now it's a complete about turn, could forest get a draw with spuds, could Brentford get a draw with man u.
  10. Ah, so when away fans start singing you only live round the corner. They're actually singing about him.
  11. Just read kumb one of them called it the Cameron cup.
  12. One thing I have to remind myself. There are players and coaches. When you look at fixtures and expected points. Just by having Unai I think we will get 2 more points than Ange and 4 more the Eric.
  13. I think people are overestimating Man U points. Including Liverpool and arsenal. Plus they have another 3 teams in the top half.
  14. Norfolk county council in the US have been given 490 m dollars as a settlement from Apple. They sued the giant because the CEO said they were pressures on sales but not from China. However 2 months later said tensions between US and China had they had to downgrade sales. Norfolk county pensions invested money into Apple during this period and sued them for fraud. Norfolk County Council beats Apple in £385m iPhone row https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-68580235
  15. I know it has been difficult to calculate up to now with points for wins and draws and bonus points for winning group, then points for play off places etc. But now it's just knockout how does it work. Is it 2 points per win per game of over the tie. So for example if we win the home leg and draw the away leg would it be 2 + 1 (/8) Or is it just 2 points for the tie (/8)
  16. Not sure what to make of this but this is not what it says on UEFA https://www.uefa.com/uefachampionsleague/news/028a-1a386150ed4b-322dff667686-1000--2024-25-uefa-champions-league-who-is-in-the-european-perfo/

Three days ago I was sitting outside reading VT I had a few other tabs open. It started spitting. I went inside and got a tissue and gave the screen a good drying. In doing so I nearly bought a binatone dual landline. Now I can't bloody get rid of all the binatone products ads.

  20. But Russia broke the cardinal rule Every country has a right to defend itself
  21. Ah got it 're read your original question. Maybe I did go on a bit. I suppose we could source our stuff elsewhere. But looking at trade agreements and volumes. If we stopped buying from israel. And they stopped buying from us. What would happen to the jobs £3.5b on our side is a lot of jobs. To put it into context admiral insurance has a turnover over £4b and employs 7000 wales.
  22. I don't know which ones. I don't suppose they are well known. The point im making is they are a large supplier of them so we probably take some. Because they are Sooooo much cheaper than brand names. There's probably a few other countries who make them who we also have problems with. It's a global economy. You can't know really where much you buy really comes from. Someone pointed out earlier lots of own brand pasta starts with Russian flour. Hell people mainly use Apple and Google and they less tax than Malta. Apple pretty much own Ireland with the tax they pay there. I just don't think blame folk for getting what they need for a fair price. And I'm Damn sure hardly anyone would turn down a generic drug which have been proved for years to be 80 to 85% cheaper.
  23. Ok let's pull out of that supply chain, when? Today, next week, next year. And what do you give to the people until you get a new supplier.
