Does Diaby ever know what to do with the ball?

I am not convinced by this boy.....He clearly looks the part.
but it seems to end there.
He's very keen to show off his abs, sadly never during an actual game. Speaks volumes about what kind of character he is.

Pau Torres defending today was some of the worst I've ever seen in a Villa shirt. Beyond pathetic. Having said that, Konsa was also utter dogshit. It's unnecessary losses like this, that'll surely make the difference in the end. Hopefully we see an instant reaction next game.
Rogers sublime move and finish a positive. Watkins masterclass once again.

Is this shit for real!?

Sometimes I wonder if the players really know what's at stake.

WTF Torres is simply ball watching.

Leon scaring us in that interview but I think he was just saying it looked bad when it immediately happened?
Honestly, I'd be more concerned about what Emery said afterwards... you don't often see players taken off for a hard-on

Emery made a huge mistake with the tactics today. Also it wasn't the first time, nor will it be the last time. He's still a brilliant manager and we're ridiculously lucky to have him.

He's so low on confidence, it's painful to watch.

We were always going to struggle badly against Spurs hard pressing approach. Emery tried something new, and it didn't work out. He should've seen it earlier though, and made sufficient changes already at half-time. Meatball brainfart was way worse than the defeat. We can still achieve top5.

Imagine what we would be like if Emery was able to bring in more players of Pau's standard.
Who says he isn't?

Calm, assured and inventive. A truly amazing player. The difference to someone like Carlos is beyond words.

He didn't do anything wrong today. Made a couple of important blocks and his passing into Watkins was very good.
How he's being blamed for the winner I don't understand. He can't magically grow 5 inches to header it clear. McTominay was Cash's man and he got bullied by him.
He can move though. Perhaps take some responsibility and actually challenge the loose ball. Lazy shit.

Fixed that for you.

Simply shit. Get rid.

How on earth do we lose that? Football can be so cruel at times.
Hope this doesn't derail our end of season entirely.

Looked highly frustrated after letting in a poor goal. Wasn't more than a squad player before either, and doesn't seem to be improving.
-
This is probably the best Chelsea has been all season, while we've been way too comfortable. No need to overreact.

We don't have that striker, if we did and Emery was still picking Duran you would have more of a point.
True, in a way. FFW I'd still have played Zaniolo over Duran yesterday.

Because in the last couple of games Duran has shown more than all of them combined???
If you say so.

His output was more than Bailey, Watkins and Diaby combined yesterday.
Comments like this make it pointless to even discuss. We all see the game differently I suppose.

You must hate the rest of the attacking players in our squad then.
Why would I do that?

He wasn’t signed as a ready made starter we signed him to develop him.
Perhaps so, but we're unexpectedly at a stage, where we (IMHO) don't have a luxury of developing him in the short term. We need a more mature striker on the bench, that'll be able to make a real impact in games.

He certainly has a "fear factor" about him now.
