I'm really looking forward to this. We out played them with real football at VP and I'm sure that has irked them and worried them.
They could only draw with Arsenal (when last season I think they would have won with Gundogan and Mahrez in the squad.) Then the Guardiola roasting of Gresford on the pitch after the game. That kind of thing can have a weird effect on a squad - Just reeks of instability and if the players are unsure of where Ped's head is, that could be to our advantage.
Finally, the crowd - Ci$y have so many games coming up. They are away to Madrid next Tuesday and then play them at home a week later. That's a lot of money for fans to fork - out so how much energy are the fans that actually do turn up going to bring to a midweek game against Villa? Our incredible away support could be the only thing you hear all night, even all the way over here in Colorado.
The fact that McGinn is out is obviously huge, but I fancy Unai has something up his sleeve and we will trouble them for sure. The teams we struggle against are the ones that park the bus and Ci$y do at least play football.
I'm excited - maybe I'm wrong, but we have several players who are hitting a bit of form who haven't really done it for us yet this season and with Unai anything is possible.
I'm a believer mate.
