That American Life and A Life Well Wasted are bloody brilliant!
  2. No probs Bicks, I got no problem with Dan at all, I'm sure he's a very nice guy. Bessie friends Dan?
  3. If you can drink sensibly mate it's never a problem, it can be quite enjoyable, but learn your limits early because chucking on a bellyful of beer isn't pleasant.
  4. Nothing Rob, I'm sound mate.
  5. Oh ED, can't we just be friends? I'm sure you're not really such a trolling cocksucker, i bet you've got a lot of really interesting hobbies, and probably lots of sparetime too. We could sit down together and read LOTR to each other? I'll have to check with my missus, oh yeah she's ok about it, how about your... Oh sorry mate. How about it then? Shall we shake hands and be friends?
  6. I'll take my title of cowardly. Though to be honest even when on the lash I rarely try to pull so go figure. You don't need it though mate, that's the thing, it's all in there *taps side of head*
  7. I'd do it, but I couldn't fight anyone dressed up as a wizard mate.
  8. Meh. About as cowardly as having to approach a girl through an internet forum I suppose Is that what's upsetting you ED? The fact that the girl that loves Villa and WoW didn't take to you? Bless. You really are a pointless little man, if I'd have seen Laura in 'real life' (it's that place away from your gaming monitor) we would have ended up in the same situation, whilst you sit in your dark little room playing WoW, waiting for some little fairys to come and talk to you and give you a semi. Bore off geek. Edit - To clarify 'real life' and to mention 'pointless'
  9. Indeed, but clearly some people can't.
  10. Not at all, if people want to drink, that's up to them, but when people take issue with me for not drinking, then more fool them, I got a good life, a good job, good health and good money since I packed in, I got a brand new lease of life with a beautiful young woman, I got everything I want. Those who need alcohol to get thru the evening, or god forbid, to pluck up the courage to talk to someone, well doesn't that suggest there's something slightly wrong, slightly cowardly?
  11. SORRY DAN, PLEASE TAKE THIS POKEMON TRADE CARD AS AN APOLOGY FROM ME TO YOU, I SHALL FOLLOW IT UP WITH A LIFESIZE GOLLUM STATUE FOR YOU SHORTLY. YOU DON'T WANT ANOTHER ONE? OH OKAY.
  12. Cheers man, didn't see this for a few days because I was too busy counting all my money that I've saved and amazing myself with my new found health, drive and detemination in life.

Frank Skinner has one for his Radio Show, which is ok, if you can block out the two cretins that present it with him. Any more suggesitions other than the above, patricularly news/technology/science podcasts? Thanks
  15. Completely OT but something that came into conversation with Laura the other day I'll know I've made it when I'm selling trainers for a living. That's my goal careerwise. Trainer selling. I enjoy my work now, but I'm lazy, I don't have the desire to step up to the Senior Management / Ops Management role, the money doesn't interest me, I'd rather earn half that and do something I enjoy a lot more. It's weird because work are constantly pushing people forward for it, every day is development and profile, development and profile, and I know I could have a pretty good job in a few years if I knuckle down, but I really can't be arsed. Just a little muse that I couldn't fit on twitter I suppose. Thanks for your time, I'm off to realign my trainers.
  16. I'm looking forward to Christmas so I can have some bloody stressfree time off with the wife, my whole life has been work work work this year and with talk about working between Livingston and Gloucester next year I'm guessing it's gonna get worse. Those four days off are gonna be spent doing very little with the woman. And maybe a run.
  17. Let me know if you do, what's your 10k times at the minute?
  18. The Fradley is supposed to be fairly flat yeah, and interest views on carbloading, maybe I'm just stanning a little too much grub at the minute? Anyways, we went out tonight and did a 5miler because I've got a footie match tomorrow in about 45 minutes, it felt FAST, panting like a bitch at the end, was interesting how different it felt to a 'normal' run. But yeah, it was good, and by our standards quick, even if I was blowing out my arse come the end (whilst Si managed a merry dance with his buckets of energy he had left). There's not been a day yet I haven't enjoyed running, before during or after, and I know Si's the same. Next year I'm alternating football to try and get a minimum of two runs, maybe 3 or 4 every other week, push a bit harder for the Fradley run. Speaking of which, we haven't signed up yet, how long do they usually keep the sign up open for? Ta, Trimmy
  19. Haha, that simple is it!? I've been trying too hard
