  1. For a time at VIlla, I genuinely believe Grealish was in the top 2/3 players on earth. Was genuinely unplayable with 2-3 people marking him. Constantly being fouled, running past fullbacks for fun. Only made the England squad because Mason Mount and Rashford got injured! Hilarious! Now he's Man City's third choice LW, he's a guaranteed call-up.

    Chelsea

Ironically, the last guy said the Boehly will relegate and bankrupt them within 18 months

    Chelsea

TalkSport is a stream of Chelsea fans crying. Fantastic.
  4. I meant in the summer, the clue was when I said "by June".
  5. Quite pleased with the window, in light of FFP. A good, sustainable team is built around 11-15 solid, first team players with young hungry players in each position trying to take their place. Looks like we are slowly erasing the errors / short termism of the Gerrard tenure and going back to building sustainably.
  6. Gordon and Guimares both have the Grealish ability, to get a foul for any contact no matter how minimal.
  7. Spurs, Arsenal, Man United, Chelsea will spend another 150 million + this summer whilst we need to sell our best prospect to comply with FFP . What happened to Everton, even Wolves should be a wake up call, not a reason to mock them. Realistically without a Grealish style sale every 3 seasons we are sell to buy.
  8. And so it begins with multiple journalists reporting we need to see someone by the end of June to meet FFP. Meanwhile the "big 6" will spaff another 100-200+ million.

    Liverpool

Absolutely fantastic manager. He will leave a massive void like Ferguson and Wenger. Really good news for us, as Man United begin to sort themselves out, there will be another top 5 space opening up for the next few seasons.
  10. They need a means to justify the next £xBillion pounds they will be sending to Ukraine. Generally speaking, it's my feeling many people are becoming apathetic to this "never ending" war. Trump may win the USA election and will pull funding, therefore it will be us, Germany, France etc who will foot the ongoing bill. It's all preparation. Send all your money to Ukraine, or go to war. It's your choice boys.
  11. He's been terrible recently since his off the field / personal issues. Clearly not worried / have a plan for FFP
  12. Why do that when you can sell the likes of Almiron and Dan Burn for 50 million each?
  13. Explains why they are happy to keep Tripper / Wilson even though it would make sense to sell them. As he's a decent player, they will get a ridiculous amount for him paying for next summers transfers.
  14. We will face the same sooner of later due to FFP. We must have 8/9 players now on north of 100k. Next round of contract renewals including Bailey and Martinez will probably want >130k+ Man City, Arsenal can happily bid 100m for Douglas Luiz, pay him 200k a week to sit on the bench. We're selling youth players to fund a £10million young right back.
  15. It's quite obvious he will be an Arsenal player within the next 6/7 months, hence suddenly he's now being given the "Darwin Nunez" Sky Sports treatment. It's all a ruse to raise his profile for his "Big money move to a top club". Same happened with Grealish, with us he was genuinely top 3/4 players on earth for 6 months, yet completely ignored. As soon as City were interested in him he was touted as the next Gazza.
  16. Can't believe how, what should be the most important popularity contest on earth, is decided between 2 people I wouldn't leave alone in a house with a working cooker. It's highly likely by 2027/8 neither Trump or Biden will be able to manage office. Hence the reason Ron Desantis / Vivek "gracefully" pulled out of the race and nominated Trump - they are queuing up for the VP position, which will effectively be the presidential nomination for the second term.
  17. As a similar sized club, we should be concerned about the likes of Everton, not laughing at them. FFP is nothing more than a tool to restrict the likes of us, Newcastle, West Ham, Everton etc from stealing the 500m+ yearly revenue the "big 6" enjoy. Its a closed shop, nothing to do with sustainability. Remove FFP then Tottenham, Liverpool, Man U are replaced by clubs with owners willing to spend (Newcastle). Unless we manage to keep Emery for 5-10 years, it will be impossible for us to long term compete even with Spurs. They can comfortably spend 150 million every season, offer higher wages. We will spend 40-50million during the summer and eventually sell a Luiz, Martinez, Bailey, Torres, Kamara or Watkins to be "sustainable". Man City can buy our captain/best player for 100m, Leeds captain/best player for 50m, Wolves best player 50m, Bournemouths best player 40m etc as bench warmers! Despite WE/NS being extraordinarily wealthy, we are recalling and selling £2million youth player to fund 9million pound purchase from Belgrade. Without FFP, we'd go and get a 40-50million ready-made fullback. This summer without FFP - we could go and spend £200m+ on 4 high quality players to really solidify ourselves as a top 6 team. The reality of what we do, will be a rude awakening for some.
  18. I'm genuinely not being a *** here, i'm calling it how I see it by the way. Happy to be educated on this. Ask yourself. If Hamas had Israel's miliary strength, would there be an Israel? What would happen to the people there? Genuine question
  19. I agree. Including those Israelis, who've just witnessed thousands of theirs massacred in cold blood by people crossing the same border.
  20. "Sub-human Palestinian" - or a potential threat from a country, whom you are at war, with a government who's manifesto is to destroy you entire country and religion? Did Hamas conduct mental health evaluations on the people they killed? Or does that whole rules of war / engagement only apply to Israel because they have a superior miliary?
  21. Keep reading Ukraine destroyed X. I wonder when / if these logistical / military hits will start to have an effect / end this stalemate? Russia don't have unlimited supplies, nor the supply chain to keep re-arming. Eventually something has to give.
  22. As Israel has a superior military, defence and finances not destroyed by corruption, clearly Israel are not allowed to respond. They must ceasefire immediately and wait for the next Hamas attack.
  23. My father in law was sent a letter requesting he joins the miliary, (He's former Russian Miliary but Lithuanian as the soviet union broke up). He, lives in the UK now. His friend, who is a similar age (late 50's) with military experience who resides in France, was picked up 24 hours into a drip to Volgrorad visting family and forced to join the military.
