Sheffield United only ever lose by 1 or 2 goals though they compete every game and hardly ever get thrashed. I dont deny West Brom and Fulham are weak teams and cleary that is because The championship was incredibly weak last season. But is it the mid table teams which show the hyper competitiveness of the premier league nowadays and Villa themselfs are a great example of that.

He has huge motivation problems in my eyes and has been on downward spiral for a long term, I would compare him to Gabby in that regard. Seems an easy decision to 'hang the boots up' and take an convient managers job. Also think he might have short term success as a manager but ultimately he hasnt got alot going on upstairs and will get found out. Think he was still a great player and that season he kept scoring with his head was insane.
