I don't think this will go through. Spurs can't afford our asking price. Chelsea could but have said they are only interested in Rooney this season. I have lost all respect for him but I would be happy for him to stay for another season and bag at least 15 goals which he is more than capable of. Don't think we should build the team and tactics around him though if he does stay.

I will be sad to see him go but it seems the best move for everybody concerned. I will be always be thankful for that first year when he made a big impact at the club. Good luck Darren (Except agains us)

Welcome Helenius. Really pleased we have him. Great potential, with very little downside. I think Lambert's 3 year deals are the way forward.

Welcome Leandro! Not the most exciting signing today but I have faith in Lambert's judgement. I think he will be a squad player initially.

Welcome Jores! Brilliant signing. I think he will be the Defender version of Benteke and next summer have loads of teams interested in him. What an exciting transfer season!!
