He scored 9 goals in 38 appearances last season for Monaco and 9 in 15 the season before. 48 goals in 108 games for Manure in his prime too. The guy is a technical genius and will be up there with Merson in terms of quality/magic that we've seen at VP. Yes he's 34 but pace was never even an issue with him, he literally strolls around! I'd happily have him on a free, off the bench and see what he can still do!

I grew up watching Yorke and loved him (still do a little) but he definitely soured it by the way he forced himself out of the club, then signed for SH and didn't he then say something like they were the bigger club?

Why? There's two simple scenarios to this... a) a club offers 32.5m and presumably is a 'larger' club then us who will offer more wages and he will accept. no club offers to buy out his clause so he remains a Villa player for the next 6 months either on his current deal or a new one. Either way we don't need to be offering cut price deals to get rid of him. He wanted to leave two years ago and that didn't hamper his run of goals at the end of this season.

Or don't ! Why he dont wanna stay he would not face us neither wed get a big bucket of money and can draw a line under the matter. I personally dont want him to stay if he dosnt want to be here. The money will come in handy and we can go forward. Aslong as villa have benteke in side we cant go forward because he dosnt want to stay. Yes, we'd all love players who 'want to play for the club' but the reality is that rarely exists. Benteke will play as well for us if he stays, as he would any other club as he is a professional athlete and that is his job.

The idea would be to cut it down to just the 'Aston Villa' part. I think it's a great idea, fan-driven and not club sponsored and something that will show the world exactly what us Villa fans are all about!

This guy deserves a ticket! this guy speaks sense! I'm happy just to be there, I went to league cup 2010, FA cup 2000 and I'll be dammed if we win and I'm not there!! No offence mate but can you please stay away - you're a jinx!! Lol Haha, I think for the last 28 years most of us can consider ourselves a jinx at games! Remember the dark days of being on the terrace at Doncaster one midweek getting trounced and screaming at DOL. Moments like that will be made up by winning the cup!

Mate you shouldn't be ashamed, you're going to the FA Cup final. If I was in your position I would do the same. Not sure how good I would be watching it with clients though, I normally go mental when Villa are playing! Yeah, I'm watching in the 'neutral' zone with a member of the FA I know.. Still will be going mental regardless

Me. I'm not watching this game at a pub where I live, I.e. North London without fellow fans. Oaks, east end villain, speizals, ddid...anyone else....? Count me in. Why not head 30mins further west for the party? I'll head wherever London VT ers go! Surely they will be going to Wembley???? Why would you not want to watch near the ground? Because there aren't that many places around the ground really, not that I know of anyway... I meant London VTers not going to the game of course! go to the green man

Not me but I've a few irons in the fire, mainly a guy who works for UTV Ireland, a head of an Arsenals supporters club, my mom knows John Delaney fairly well & my girlfriends best friend is in some firm in London who have concerts in Wembley but nothing looking good at the moment. Love it - I've got a mate who's asking a mate, someone who knows someone who works for the Premier League and I'm long shotting a guy at the FA I know a little.

Just booked my flight. Leave Cincinnati Thurs 4pm - 5hrs in Detroit then arrive Friday 11am... Return Sunday 1pm to Seattle - arrive for an 8hour layover before catching an 11pm flight to Cinci arriving at 6.30am Mon morning. EVERY SINGLE SECOND WILL BE WORTH IT!
