  1. I hated the idea of the 39th game in football and I don't see much of a difference between that idea and US teams playing meaningful fixtures over here.
  2. Crusader Kings II. I speak no hyperbole when I state that this is the greatest game I've ever played. Currently trying to convert the world to Germanic Pagan but hamstringing myself by giving away all my conquests outside of Sweden to my Kin. When you get a ruler who survives a few years (mine tend to die a lot in battle) and you snowball into a living god, it can be hard to put down!
  3. Katie Taylor's 2012 Gold medal. Incredible atmosphere and memorable event.
  4. Borderlands 2 VR. Jumping around shotgunning people has never been so fun! I waited until the game implemented aim support and it works almost flawlessly in this (with the exception of sniping).
  5. Stellaris has appeared out of nowhere on PS4. I've always wanted to give a Paradox game a go and this seems the perfect chance to do so! The tutorial and button mapping are excellent and I can see myself playing this for many hours.
  6. Won my first game so decided to retire with a 100% record.
  7. I'm going to give it a try. Looks quite good but I have 2 reservations: The TTK seems too long and as it is a team based game, I imagine it will descend into a pit of toxicity and throwers within a few months.
  8. The absolute worst are the brummie reds who discovered their lifelong loyalty for the blose after they got promoted 15 or so years ago. I don't hear much from them nowadays...
  9. Delighted Champ got in first time. I rate him above Revis but that may be down to personal bias.
  10. Both sets of corners had outstanding games which allowed both teams to plug the middle. Edelman was the difference as he was the only receiver able to consistently beat the coverage. Gilmore would have been my pick for MVP.
  11. Make sure you telephone (searching for the telephone number on the web rather than from any email) to confirm they are genuine first! Yes they are the swift/iban number.
  12. "A Football Life - Paul Brown" is probably my favourite of the football life films. I'd love them to do one on Don Hutson or Bob Hayes next.
  13. You're in bed with a cold or a flu and 50 pounds is left next to your bed. If you have a cold you will pick it up. If you have flu then you will not care and will leave it.
  14. Not much has been released this year which has grabbed my attention enough to pay the premium on a newly released game. I've spent most of the latter part playing the PSVR back-catalogue so haven't indulged in RDR2 yet. From what I have played, Kingdom Come Deliverance was the best followed by Astrobot. Overwatch and Dirt Rally have been my most played titles of 2018.
  15. It's a good as time as any to get into VR. The headset is as low as £200 and there is now a decent sized library. Resident Evil, Dirt Rally, Astrobot, Farpoint, Firewall, Skyrim and Superhot are all excellent titles in their own right with lots of other arcade and indie titles to keep your interest.
  16. Hooked on Dirt Rally VR. It's an incredibly difficult but rewarding sim and in VR it's incredible. I've managed to beat the master difficulty but only in the 1960s cars. Here's me in Colin McRae's Impreza trying not to crash and die in Finland.
  17. Have you played Blood Bowl? It's a turn based tabletop game based on a very violent version of the NFL but the port to PC/Console is very good.
  18. I picked up a cheap bundle and really enjoying it so far. It's blurrier than I expected but very immersive. I haven't experienced any motion sickness. Dirt Rally is much easier in VR and I noticed my lap times tumbling. If you are a fan of driving games then VR is perfect for them. Polybius is easily my favourite game so far. It's absolutely incredible in VR - It's like being inside a trippy 80s shoot 'em up. I would definitely recommend it for anyone - just bear in mind that you will have no clue what is happening for the first few playthroughs but the gameplay is very intuitive after a while.
  19. "Ah yes. This is handled by our head office in Dubai..." They normally hang up before I get to the fake number part.
  20. Composed. Comfortable. Very good performance.
