  1. Good keeper but quite short which proved his un-doing at times for us, I wish him well.
  2. Yes, the guy's a God to some of us, despite everything!
  3. Can we have him back now? Please.
  4. 2 million for Hooli? Quick City, snatch their ruddy arms off!
  5. Really love the guy my friend.. and in the Championship he could run riot .
  6. Official quote our end: However, City boss Neil Adams has made it clear to the 26-year-old striker he has a big role to play at Carrow Road next season after a disappointing first year at the club. “There’s been no transfer request from Gary Hooper,” confirmed Adams. “I spoke to him two days ago and told him he’s one of the players we need to keep. He can score goals, Gary Hooper can. He will be a big part of the squad, along with many, many others. “So I understand – there’s bound to be this sort of speculation and rumour, and somebody can make a throwaway comment that suddenly becomes national news. “But Gary Hooper has not handed in a transfer request and I’ve told him I need him here to hopefully be part of pushing this team back into the Premier League, and he was happy with that.”
  7. Local press now saying he wants out. http://www.pinkun.com/norwich-city/wes_hoolahan_may_have_to_wait_patiently_for_his_norwich_city_exit_1_3615591
  8. AGAIN! Are you still interested? Source: The Sun.
  9. Speaking only for myself here Gareth.............where do I pick him up from?
  10. Yes, total hero but not it seems our first choice for next manager, Neil Lennon's name crops up more than Malkys.
  11. Neil Adams our new manager knows our club inside out, he's a superb coach and mostly we feel we have a better chance of staying up with him than with Hughton. The national media will be grovelling soon after hammering us this week.
  12. I doubt even dumbo Hughton would stand for that. As for Wes, you're welcome to him, he's fed well off our table for years and yet now we're suddenly a sh*thouse and he won't celebrate scoring, some responce to our traveling fans that was. As I said you're quite welcome to him.
  13. With ruddy Hughton at the helm you'll get no arguement from me on that.
  14. But it's being suggested you are open to a deal with other clubs. You just won't deal with Aston Villa. If you believe Sky Sports of course... Thats just that, suggested, nothing more, we're not selling to anyone and I belive that.
  15. We've done NO deal for Wes with anyone yet!
  16. No it doesn't Harry, in fact quite the opposite in my opinion, why should we bow down and give in when toys are thrown out of his pram? Mind you, I'm not sure I want to see him in a City shirt again now. He's burning a lot of bridges. I don't think it makes you look small time. But I would question why Norwich are so insistent on him staying if everything we're hearing is true. If he was playing every week then I could understand. You wouldn't want to sell a key player and would be standing firm. But it doesn't seem like Wes has been an integral part of the Norwich team this season. So it is a bit puzzling as to why Norwich would sacrifice the 1-2m they'll get for him if they sell now just to not do business with us. They'll be giving up money just to have an unhappy player who they won't use and who they have to pay for the rest of the season. Like I said, I don't see it as small time, but I do find it a bit odd. Are relations really that bad between norwich and Lambert that they won't do any business with him, even if it's to the detriment of their own club? As I said Stevo, I think its just got personal between Wes and our club, and our CEO McNally won't back down.

Mind you, I'm not sure I want to see him in a City shirt again now. He's burning a lot of bridges. Do you think Norwich would accept a £2m bid from Fulham for Hoolahan? I do. Norwich just don't want to sell to Villa. No, its just not Villa imo its anyone now, its got personal and thats sad.

  19. Well Norwich are acting like assholes so no surprise the guy is majorly pissed off, all he did was say that things are f**king shit which for him at this moment in time they are. He has barely played for them and then Villa come in for him probably gonna offer him a 2 and a half year deal with better wages and a signing on fee but it looks like it won't happen because Norwich are being childish. I'd be pissed off if it was me. No, we won't be bullied by players who were happy to extend their contract a few months ago.
  20. Hughton today: Wes Hoolahan was left out of City squad after a build up dominated by his future but Hughton insisted the club’s tough stance had not changed regarding the Irishman ahead of Friday’s transfer deadline day. City rejected Hoolahan’s transfer request last week following an initial enquiry from Aston Villa. “It was my decision,” said Hughton. “We are all clear what the facts are. There was a bid and a transfer request and we turned both down. I’ve involved him in two previous games but felt it was something that might affect this game and could be on Wes’ mind. The facts are no different. There has been no change.” Hell if I know whats happening.
  21. Oops Sorry, just confirmed not in squad so 2+2=? Son of Wiz, are you: 1) Wiz but under a different name? or 2) actually Wiz's son? By the way, we appreciate you coming on here. Neither, just a plain old Norwich City poster.
