  1. Let's be honest here, Cov would've been dicked by City and I think somehow, watching United celebrate like they just won the WC after barely clinching pens against a midtable Championship side they blew a 3-0 lead against is more embarrassing than if they had lost the damn thing. Propah smalltime m8
  2. Crazy how similar Chelsea is to United; aimless and without a plan or identity, even with Palmer dragging them kicking and screaming I don't see them making a genuine run for a top 4 any time soon I've said it before but if Liverpool bottle replacing Klopp the Prem is wide open in a way it's never been before, except ofc 115 FC. But no one cares about them lol
  3. Good news for is that there's an increasingly likely chance that Burnley still has all to play for when they play Spurs in the penultimate matchday
  4. If we can't handle ET in a knockout round game what the **** point is there in being in the damn Champs League to begin with?! Get a grip people.
  5. Despite by bemusement at our performance, this is a proper European tie and its so wonderful seeing the Villa be a part of it. Ajax felt flat because of how awful they've been this season, but this is something else. Lille have shown up to win, and the atmosphere is thick with tension. Long may it continue.
  6. I completely forgot the game was on at 6GMT, just tuned in and... How bad is it? Flukey goal or are we being done in?
  7. I still cannot get over the fact that when you google search Dibu, this is the 2nd or 3rd image that pops up What a **** legend
  8. The pass he played for Watkins' goal was just superb. Class

    Liverpool

As much as City's cheat-driven dominance has soured the feel of the PL lately, the truth is that the race for European places is as wide open as its ever been. If Liverpool don't get this right and cock it up like MU and Chelsea have, the Prem might be set for an unprecedented level of competition amongst the European places which is only good for everyone involved. Now if only they can get the cheats kicked out of the league

    Unai Emery

Seen this on the Gooners forum: "Emery genuinely seems like a good man. I really don’t get that vibe with Arteta or his friend pep" Even they see the value in having a manager who carries himself with esteem and isn't a total bellend. How ironic when you consider where Arsenal would be if they had given Emery the time and budget they've given Arteta. And deep down the Arse fans know it.
  11. FA Cup semi final for Chelsea next weekend
  12. If Arse don't take care of business next week 5th place CL is toast. Liverpool clearly pissing away EL is gonna **** everything up, scouse ****
  13. Shambles at the back for sure but let's not act like this is a smash and grab. We've had multiple chances as well, it's just frustrating that theirs are coming from self inflicted wounds.
  14. Fair play to the intl CBS/Paramount broadcast btw, both commentators supported the decision and said 100% Saka played for contact when he didn't have to.
  15. There's no way Arse can afford to not rotate after that. Surely if we get a good result at Lille we throw everything at them?
  16. We just don't have the PASHUN, they're proper football supporters m8
  17. Konsa exposed on every, single, goal. He gets skinned by anyone willing to run at him. Not good enough
  18. Still cannot **** believe those lot did the double on us. I mean, I can, but still...
  19. This is a big point. Spurs got played off the pitch vs. a bottom half squad and we grafted a point against a top 8 side using a paper mache midfield, which should help build a lot of confidence about our chances for 4th after last weekends debacle. Credit to Emery for making changes proactively. IMO we should play Bailey and Zani on the flanks with Diaby in the hole until one of McGinn or Ramsey comes back, Duran and Rogers are just passengers atm
  20. I think the one thing that really benefits us from having ECL this season is that is helps the players become better at dealing with the rigors of competing in multiple fronts; knowing the importance of staying in 1st/2nd gear when another gear isn't needed, etc. The squad will have confidence that, should we qualify for Champions League, we won't see our domestic form suffer much as we've seen from teams in the past who overachieved in a season with no 3rd comp, qualified for Europe, but struggled to cope next season and sank back to mid/upper mid table (Newcastle this season is a good example of this)
  21. As much as I love Mings, the idea that he's gonna come back firing on all cylinders is naive. And as stated, of all our center halves he's the only one who can really replicate what Pau does for us moving the ball up the pitch. If the wages are reasonable it's a no brainer. That's a big If, though.
