  1. We're just waiting for the catalyst to implode and go on a big winless run. This is the start of it now.
  2. Emery had a mare with the team set up. We all called it before the start
  3. Not necessarily. 6th may not be Europa League
  4. We don't deserve to qualify for CL We are a joke side when an important game is played.
  5. Am not happy with that team. Think it'll backfire. Cash and Bailey. We're down to the bones and they have their full team back fit
  6. If West Ham can knock Freiburg out and the rest of the teams go through England will have 5 left and Germany 3. A lot hinges on West Ham really. We need City to draw Bayern next round to get them out hopefully
  7. As I'd had said, a **** disaster for England yesterday.
  8. The research I did on it said that all PL players were insured as they are such important valuable commodities. However the insurance would cover wages not any payments in relation to amortisation. In situations like Wesley he became impaired on the balance sheet. It's unclear exactly how much wages are covered. Players have basic wages and payments based on personal and team performance. Also what level of injury results in an insurance claim. I think it would need to be something significant for example 3 months out injured. However, none of those kind of detail I could find out.
  9. We need Freiburg out. It's pretty key. Dortmund will go through. Leverkusen and Bayern are though and can go deep. If we get Germany down to three teams left. Our issue is our total is divided by 8 and Germany's is divided by 7 as is Italy. So our wins are worth less than theirs. If West Ham go out we have 4/8 left and Germany have 4/7 and are already ahead on points. It's bad siatuaion
  10. Wins give points, not who qualifies. So if West Ham and Freiburg win a game each and West Ham progress and lose both games in next round the points are the same. We need West Ham to win and go through. Brighton win for some pride and points and they are out. Arsenal need to win and we need Dortmund out if at all possible
  11. Probably shows how 100% certain Red Bull are internally. The got an independent experienced investigation. Media spins things to create narratives. We don't have all the facts whoever did the investigation did.
  12. Great movie, loved both parts. We need more movies like this made by a small group what have a vision of what they want the movie to be, given the funding and allowed to make it
  13. Yeah Bighton not helping us at all. Leverkusen drew and they will win 2nd leg. West Ham is the Big one vs Freiburg. Germany are the main challenge for the top 2 places. If West Ham knock them out it helps a lot
  14. If we can remove big costs from the books this would work. Digne, Coutinho, Sanson, Chambers, Dendoncker, Hause. We also have Traore gone. Maybe Olsen to go too. We really only need a CDM and another LB/LCB
  15. I'm pretty sure Diaby was £35m + potential £15m in add-on's. People loved reporting the £50m total. Pau was reported at £31.5m. Tielemans was free. Then was 2 loans.
  16. We need to bring in profit on player trading around the £50m mark if we make CL. So a sale of the youth and Digne etc.. along with Cash probably is enough.
  17. So did more digging. Gerrard was on £5m per year (lets assume Emery is on the same amount). So Gerrard paid up cost us £10m in additional one off cost in 22/23 his staff too say adds another £2m. We paid Emery release clause of 5.25m and Monchi's was reported as £1.7m lets assume Emery staff too is another £1m. This is £20m of one off cost in under Wages/Other Costs in 22/23 that drops off. So we've £30m headroom for increased Wages/Amortisation this season to stay under the PSR limit if our revenue increases to 260m. We get an extra £10m from 3 extra place in PL and winning ECL is worth £18.8m (€22m). That would exquat to broadcast revenue of £181m (I put £175m). I put Matchday and Commercial income up £21m from 65m to 86m. I think the signings this season have added about £50m in wages / amortisation. So a £20m counter balance in drop in wages/amortisation for the players who left. I think Wesley had been impared off balance sheet so was worth "0" on our books hence letting him leave for no fee. The crux of this is, when we finished our summer in 2023 the club have not financially planned for us to be having as good a season as now, this is bonus income. So we seem to be comfortable enough to spent £15m in Jan window as a result. I assume they know Sanson buy option probably triggered too. Zaniolo's won't be. etc.. This is my last post on it. I'm confident we don't need to sell a player before June to stay under PSR and then 24/25 season will have boost in income again with hopefully UCL and sponsorship boost with Adidas (and the boost for being in UCL sponsors pay in contracts) which mitigates situation. We do need to begin the normal turnover of players though.
  18. Yes but need to decrease the 21/22 accounts. I think we made a loss on Samatta and Engles in June 2021 so they would drop off. We would restate the 21/22 accounts for the adjustment
  19. NSWE UK LIMITED filing history - Find and update company information - GOV.UK (company-information.service.gov.uk) I see you found them but the link for others.
  20. This is the issue. The other clubs get fans to the ground earlier and serve them better. The revenue from match day is basically just the ticket sales no other income because we're so poor at that.
  21. I think the Match day income is an embarrassment to this club. Southampton made 17m on match day income last season. Brighton made 21m. To me it's abundantly clear there is no financial business case to knock down North Stand and increase the capacity by 20% if that gives us a boost of £3-4m in match day income. West Ham make over double ours. Leeds made 25m last season. Leeds! For me the right course of action is to get our match day revenue up to £30m+ at a minimum by the 3000 extra seats and doing work to the Match day experience for all fans. We appear to be the most underperforming team on this metric when you compare to other PL clubs in revenue per fan
  22. Revised numbers having reviewed the accounts on Companies House 2022 2023 2024 Match Day 16.1 18.7 26 Broadcast 123.2 152.5 175 Commercial 26.4 30.1 60 Sponsorship 12.7 16.3 Income 178.4 217.6 261 Wages -137 -194.2 -194.2 Other Costs -41.9 -66.4 -66.4 Player Amort -82.5 -92.5 -92.5 Depreceiation -3.5 -4 0 Non-Recurring income/cost -9.8 -2.1 0 Gain on player sales 97.4 22 40 Exepenses -177.3 -337.2 -313.1 Operating Profit/Loss 1.1 -119.6 -52.1 Allowable Deductions 22 26.8 25 PSR Figure 23.1 -92.8 -27.1 So I think the non recurring cost in 2022 was related to the Lerner Payment (I've put the interest paid in here for 2023 accounts). I think the payouts to Deano and Gerrard are probably in with Wages/Other costs as it's paying up their contracts and I think the payment to Villareal in compensation for Emery is in somewhere under "other costs". I think this is why we see in the UEFA presentation such a huge increase in total wages over player wages. All the Gerrard/Emery expenses are in there. *Note Commercial revenue includes the income from players out on Loan (5.7m). I don't have the figure for 2022.
  23. Women, Youth, Community and Infrastructure all exempt from FFP / PSR
