    Listening to the new Matt Pond PA album right now. That and John Vanderslice's "Emerald City" have been getting a surprising amount of play lately considering I'm not a huge indie rock fan.

    Bra-vo, my friend. Bra-muthaf*-vo. I echo 3_penny_opera's sentiments as well. I actually think I dislike Liverpool more than United or Arsenal at this point. At least those two clubs progress. I watched the match in a pub loaded full of Irish ex-pats cheering for Liverpool. There were three of us. Three happy little Villans.

    Seconded! The announcer was over the top. I go to a lot of the Revolution matches here in Boston (well... way south of Boston) and aside from announcing the players, goals, substitutions and cards, our PA pretty much keeps it shut. And nothing during the run of play is Sponsored by... Our footie culture as a whole prety much blows here anyway. But it's getting better and at least we have something.
