  1. I don’t give a sugar coated word removed about his personal success when it is for the benefit of Man City… If he had gone abroad and done it for Inter, Bayern, Real etc, I would have cheered him on and supported him… but **** Man City, their owners, their players, their employees and their fans…
  2. It’s not though is it… because Fergie literally proved that he can work miracles on zero budget… Guardiola has never done it… he’s been handed mega money everywhere he has gone
  3. But we do know that Ferguson could win continental competitions with Aberdeen and be the last person to break the Old Firm…
  4. There is an inside joke in Germany that they are the “almost” team… Always the bridesmaid, never the bride - that kind of thing… Leicester weren’t even the cleaner at the registry office the year they won it
  5. Are you comparing Leverkusen potentially winning the Bundesliga to when Leicester won the Premier League? Thats a bit of a stretch… Leverkusen have been one of Germanys biggest teams for years (despite the fact that Bayern had a monopoly on it with Dortmund being the only side seemingly capable of challenging them)… Leverkusen had had regular European football for years… Leicester had only just avoided relegation by the skin of their teeth and then went on to win the fairytale of fairytales
  6. Why is he further up the pecking order than Chambers?! How did this bloke end up on the books at Barcelona? I trust Unai to the ends of the earth with his decisions regarding our club… but some of them I don’t understand… and the continued inclusion of Lenglet is one of them…
  7. The kicker with this is that even if he wanted to get everything right, he has limited means to do so… Hes doing so, so well with what was left to him from previous managers… we’ve had some nasty injuries to key players and we have punched well above our weight… Hes had 3 transfer windows now and it’s clear that he doesn’t want to spend money for the sake of it to make up numbers… He has actively wanted to sign players who will be a valuable asset to the team… and id say, considering who he has brought in, that he has done that very very well… The days of Sylla, Beye and Holman are long gone…
  8. Exactly… when he was signed, we needed a player of his calibre - and he fit the bill magnificently at the time - but we have rolled on much further than his ability will allow him to keep up with… The management structure and quality of players around him have improved significantly since he signed and, as shitty as it sounds to say about someone who has been brilliant for us - there are better options out there for us who we are now more than capable of convincing to play for us
  9. He’s become a squad player in the making… Unai will want him replaced by someone significantly better… At least with Moreno and Digne there is competition for the LB spot… I get the feeling whoever Unai has lined up for RB will be light years ahead of Matty… and as much as it sucks for Cash and I feel for him and wish him the best… What the club (and Emery) wants comes first
  10. Not to mention moving to an employer whose blatant breaking of anti-competition rules almost put “your club” out of business… and on top of that, cheating to help them succeed against “your club” all whilst crying to the media and putting out this false front that you have “your clubs” best interests at heart… I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… id rather see that word removed on fire in a Man City team bus with all of his pals than represent our club again
  11. Dunno about you, but I don’t remember ever having a job that I’d dreamt of having since I was a child, where l was worshipped by thousands of people who all loved the same company that I had wanted to work for the entire time, where people brought replicas of the company uniform with my name on the back and where people sung songs glorifying me
  12. Yeah, pretty much… Any other player does it - I can understand - you’re a well paid mercenary (see Ashley Young) but he was supposed to be one of us… Lied to the fans who were asking him if he was staying, kept them thinking he was going to stay so they bought the new kit with his name on, **** off, compared his leaving to Messi leaving Barcelona, went to the media to cry about how he “really wanted to come back for the West Ham game” but didn’t because he didn’t know how he would be received (bearing in mind Albrighton and Smith were both sacked by the club yet continue to come to show their support on their days off), dived against us… what else does “Mr Aston Villa” “Still just Jack the Aston Villa fan from Solihull” expect?
  13. Exactly… what they are doing is corrupt, immoral sportswashing… What we are doing is for the good of the partner clubs…
  14. Nah, you’re alright… Hes nailed his colours to the mast… Persona non grata as far as im concerned
  15. What? For a nice chunky signing on bonus? To say how he is “Villa till he dies and oooh, that’s a lot of money XYZ are offering, bye”
  16. Then she should be prosecuted for perverting the course of justice and wasting police time…
  17. Fact of the matter is that, with the evidence that had already been given, it should have been automatically elevated from a civil matter into a legal one… His behaviour demonstrated in those recordings, with the photos of the bruising etc etc is enough to prove he is a menace… the accusers previous comments and accusations should be used in court to prosecute him, whether she wants it to continue or not… Doesnt matter how much money he has coughed up
  18. Yeah well… no smoke without fire… Greenwood had voice notes of him demanding sexual favours from a girl under threats of violence and intimidation and he got let off the hook because of money. Id imagine money can afford a pretty top notch legal team to get you off of anything when the opposition has one that can be afforded with coupons
  19. Yep… and the very same people usually say that the English media don’t stigmatise white players for the same crimes… Conveniently not paying any attention at how Ched Evans, Adam Johnson, Gylfi Sigurdsson and many many other white players were (justifiably) harangued for being pervy rapists
  20. Possibly even the greatest rapist?
  21. Yeah, but it isn’t school… they are grown adults… there is no stigma about hanging round with the person five years younger than you…
  22. Just heard him talking on the radio and it was a blast from the past… Bolo Zenden
