  1. Lovely penalty , kept calm with the hold up. Is Anwar looking a bit leaner this season?
  2. I hope he stays, but I think he is going. Can we be a better overall team without Jack, maybe, if the scouting is right. Every team that finished above us last season didn't have Jack Grealish.
  3. Matty Cash and Milot Rashica haven't denied it was them, so that's confirmed then.
  4. I think N'Zogbia was slightly injured, as he was limping when he came off. I thought Bowery did ok, played out wide in Agbonlahors position, and put a shift in. Lambert probably wanted a player who can go wide rather than Bent through the middle to exploit West Hams back three, and wingbacks. Guzan or Clark could take MOTM for me. Guzan coming out for crosses give me more confidence than Given fixed to his line, especially against a Sam Allardyce team. Clark did well also, even with his handball towards the end, he was booked, but I think showed a bit of experience in stopping the through ball and taking the booking.
  5. I am not sure wheter Weimann is fit, he was apparently suffering with a virus Tuesday, and he took a couple of kicks to his foot which left him limping. So this team is without him. http--,,--//
  6. No other premier league team went for Upson either, I think he had his heart set on Brighton.
  7. Like most on here, the only thing I know about Simon Dawkins is the videos. It is probably a very cheap gamble, he looks like there is talent there, maybe he just hasn't shown it consistently up to now. Give him a chance and lets see what he can offer. Maybe a season in the MLS has done wonders for his confidence and work ethic, one thing a lot of US players will do is put in a shift, and get a very good level of fitness. Confidence and self belief can transform the performance of a player.
  8. Right it's past 11pm, so apart from NRC, what other free transfers, centrebacks hopefully, are available.
  9. If we get injuries, another 6' player who can hold a defensive line
  10. They were making the lad feel at home, in a nice French car.
  11. Still, look on the bright side, none of our players turned up at another clubs car park. Top team
  12. It's a centre back, a man mountain Omar Gawd
  13. Brek Shea, 6' 3" ginger winger might be to play in central defence.
  14. Brek Shea, just signed for Stoke from MLS
  15. Not quite creaming, there's a little movement to be fair, but nothing has come of it yet.
  16. I have just checked him out on an early release issue of FIFA 2017, Apparently we sell him to Real Madrid for £60M after 3 title winning seasons, he wants to move as we only won 2 champions leagues. He is the French Dali Stephans Sissoko
  17. If Bent does go to Stoke then maybe we could have Palacios on loan for the rest of the season. At his best he is probably what we need in midfield, depends on his fitness, he did have a knee injury and hasn't played much for Stoke. Perhaps a move for Jake Livermore could be possible, after all he's not going to get much of a look in at Spurs, Holtby has been signed, and Parker is there also. Both central defensive mids, both on loan with a view to a deal at the end of the season, that way there is no real risk. Livermore, young with the potential to improve, Palacios (if fit) ready made to make an impact straight away.
  18. Yes I saw him in that one and to be fair, he was good, but then I have also seen Joe Bennett have a good game.
  19. I have to say, I didn't watch many Wigan games last season, but was Diame that good. He left Wigan on a free, and signed for West Ham, no disrespect, but suddenly he is supposed to be interesting "top clubs" because of his release fee. There was no fee 6 months ago. It's not like managers wouldn't have seen him play in some strange foreign league. During Wigans run of 7 wins at the end of the season, he played only 20mins as a sub in one game, and 5 minutes in another.
  20. I don't know how many points, therefore how many wins/draws are needed to survive. But we are not the only club down there. We are only in the bottom 3 on goal difference, 1 point from the safety position at the moment. If you don't think we will suddenly start winning loads of games, why do we tend to think others will. Are Reading any better than us? Are Wigan any better than us? Are QPR any better than us? When you look at the league table, no. Every team has its problems, including us. We only need 1 point more than the bottom 3, whether that be 30, 34, 35, whatever. I believe we have the capability to survive, we have the goal scoring capacity, we may be able to improve our defending with more training time now we are on 1 game a week. We are not dead yet.
