  1. Combination of the 2 probably. If you check back far enough you'll see that I was saying way before the Prescott fight that I suspected Khan got KO'd on a regular basis in sparring which is why Warren was being even more cautious than normal with his latest cash cow. Sure shaky specky retard Roach has improved his defence a bit but what exactly has he faced in the way of danger since the Prescott fight, in terms of guys that can actually hit him and hurt him? I honestly thought Barrera would slaughter him when that fight was announced but I obviously wasn't privy to the word around the American gyms like Roach was, he knew Barrera was shot to shit...of course he was fighting well above his natural weight as well which didn't help matters but even then they were BEGGING the referee to stop that fight after 4 rounds to claim the win, Barrera actually wobbled Khan a couple of times in that fight despite losing every round. His other opponents since then have all been pretty feather-fisted and/or crude so they've been pretty safe bets with his new style. As was mentioned Marquez would be horrible right now for Khan, as would Katsidis, as would Pac or Floyd (as if they need to be mentioned in the same breath) As I said, I think he'll take the Slappy Joe route for about 3 years now, easy money and you just know that the Asian community over here will back him to the hilt like they did Hamed while the real boxing fans fume about what a dodging word removed he is. Sad but that's the state of the sport right now.
  2. Not allowed to take PED's during Ramadan then? Wonder if he'd agree to testing for a Floyd fight....or would the Dope Coach shit himself at the thought again? 8) I get the feeling he'd use the drug test demands as an excuse, hence the talk about him fighting Floyd in 12 months time. He'll talk about it and then back out when Floyd asks him to prove he's clean - even if he is clean, it gives him an excuse to not get his ugly face smashed in. Khan is becoming a bit of a Slappy Joe part 2 to me, avoiding all hard punchers at every turn and the only good names he's going for are all **** geriatrics.
  3. Not allowed to take PED's during Ramadan then?
  4. It's not surreal, it's just shit - even worse than Hayes, and he's no master of it either. James Toney and Ricardo Mayorga are the trash talking kings, by miles 8) The irony of a Klitschko accusing another fighter of being a bitch isn't lost though, this is the guy that claimed everything from diabetes to CIA interference after Brewster shattered his egg-shell jaw His big brave brother retired rather than face the monster that was Rahman and quit against Byrd who punches about as hard as my aunt Phyllis Oh and on top of that Wlad still has 2 unavenged defeateats on his record to crap fighters Having said all that if Haye fights Harrison then yes he's a bitch and I'll stop defending the guy - it doesn't make the Klitschkos any better though because they ain't. You can't hammer Haye for fighting Harrison and defend Vitali fighting Sosnowski in the same breath, it's twisted logic. Wlad has taken on his fair share of nobodies too, I bet if he'd just KO'd Ruiz and beaten Valuev all his fans would defend him to the hilt for fighting a journeyman in his next fight.
  5. Think he's still bitter about Khan? Was about to post that, the comments about Casamayor are ironic considering he fought Barrera under Warren. That's the first thing that sprang to mind here too. Warren is fast turning into a bitter old prick. Every fighter that fights under his name is the best thing since sliced bread and as soon as they leave him he's constantly sniping away at them. Slappy Joe, Hatton and Khan have all had the full treatment from him, Haye always cops it too purely because he's 'competition' with Hayemaker promotions. How he can slate Khans opposition when he spoon-fed Slappy Joe and Hatton a ridiculous selection of nobodies for years is beyond me. I seem to remember the only reason Hatton got a fight with Tszyu was because he demanded Warren sort it out - Warren was dead set against it, he doesn't like risks. Shame the bloke that shot Warren didn't have a better aim, really. Is there anyone in boxing that you actually like? Although I pretty much agree with all of that There's loads that I like, it's just boring to talk about them For a local legend read Nobby Nobbs...I like that guy a lot but I suspect you've never heard of him. He trains bums, nobodies, opponents, cannon fodder etc or whatever you want to call them but **** me that man is a legend My favourite quote is "there was 67,000 people at my last fight....I was at Old Trafford and some word removed hit me on the head with a beer bottle"

  7. Me too. Retard tears OK that was cruel of me.....but in my own defence Roach is a pretty cruel human being too, examples being using his current cash cows to dismantle former greats in DLH and Barrera - and it seems that Casamayor is next too so **** him. I hope a big, 6 foot 9 black bloke sucker punches him while he's waiting in line for his mong medicine, then he might get an idea what it feels like. Or something. I get the feeling that Roach suffers from both 'small man syndrome' and 'retard against the world' syndrome, can't wait to see his bubble get burst. Barrera was P4P#3 when Pacquiao fought him. I was referring to when Khan fought him, where was Barrera on the P4P list then?
  8. Who else could he fight? Casamayor whooped Katsidis. And Katsidis is the mandatory for the winner of Diaz/Marquez. So who? Someone who isn't middle aged perhaps? Casamayor will be 39 years old by the time the Khan fight happens, if it happens. Maybe Khan should forget about fighting people that have beaten Katsidis and try to beat the guy that beat him....just a suggestion. A fight with Prescott would be a step backwards. Casamayor, Kotelnik and Malignaggi are all better than Prescott. I wouldn't say Casamayor is better than Prescott right now, but that isn't the point. Khan has an unavenged loss and he should rematch the guy - but he won't, and we all know why :winkold:

  10. I'm not a Foreman fan either and have always been a huge Cotto fan but I think 30% of him died that night that Margarito cheated him out of victory, damn shame but against Pac he seemed to have little or no resistance at all. Pac does that.....he got Hatton at the right time too and looked great doing it :winkold: Can't wait for Mayweather to expose that guy, I want to see Roach crying retard tears at ringside when his cash cow gets hammered 8)
  11. :| You think Tyson had shaky whiskers? No I don't. Good - save that kind of accusation and abuse for Amir Khan, thank you Everyone else think Cotto is going to win tonight? Not so sure myself, I've got a feeling tonight is the night we see just how shot to shit he is, I thought that beating from old concrete fists was a career ender when it happened and the Pac fight proved me right.
  12. :| You think Tyson had shaky whiskers? Jones has had this crap his entire career and it's bollocks. On the canvas once in a career spanning LMW right up to HW, moves back to LHW at 35 years old and gets TKO'd then KO'd and all of a sudden this 'glass jaw' shit comes up.... As I said Leonard suffered the same fate in his mid 30's yet no-one says shit about his lack of punch resistance, it's bullshit. To date, Roy Jones has tasted canvas and been KO'd less times than Mike Tyson - and Tyson has an iron jaw. I've never seen a fighter who's punch resistance improves once they're pasts 30....not once. Unless they got some a-side meth. He can be pretty entertaining at times, just don't take him seriously and laugh at him calling all Brits 'Glass-jawed' and 'heartless' His obsession with Roy is a bit strange though Entertaining....nope he's a one trick pony, boring, pin headed word removed. Ah yes, the 'heart' thing too, he loves Vitali and has the nerve to say Jones had no heart  I stopped arguing ages ago, I just occasionally throw in a remark these days, he's the biggest idiot on that board.

  14. He's also an absolute prick. Using his stupid criteria then Mike Tyson had a 'glass jaw', and so did Sugar Ray Leonard :x Interestingly enough according to him Jones was glass jawed and Wladimir Klitschko isn't....absolute nonsense, twisted thinking.

  16. 'safetypin' put up more of a fight in the weigh-in as in the actual bout. But at least he got the guts to get into the ring with him. I'm guessing you were referring to "Vitali scared Lewis into retirement" though? I'm having fun on the latest page of that thread....I love to shove a stick in the hornets nest from time to time
  17. Has either of you seen the "Vitalys career defining moment" thread on ESB? :crylaugh:
  18. Khan V Casamayor is going to happen, according to The Sun... When I read it I thought "I thought Casamayor retired years ago, didn't he?" Which tells you all you need to know, another joke Khan fight.
  19. Haven't seen that one, I wouldn't have said that fight would be 90-10 in anyones favour to be fair, but I'd favour Whittaker - one of the best fighters I've ever seen. Pac is special but has he beaten better guys than Whittaker did? I don't think he's done anything that matches beating Chavez who was 87 and 0 when they fought (**** what the judges say, Whittaker won that fight) He also beat a prime De La Hoya when he was ageing, got **** robbed in that one too :x
  20. Love any James Toney post fight interview....the mans an ATG legend, a true iron-chinned warrior. The interview after the Holyfield fight was the best though, he really gave it to the interviewer, I thought he was going to hit the guy - the interviewer shat himself big time
  21. That big kit kat is **** awesome, and I don't even like chocolate all that much. If it was a giant Star Bar or Toblerone...mmmmm
  22. He rightly got a load of shit for taking the Rahman fight and that's my point - Rahman is no more shot now than he was when he lost to Wlad. Klitschko really did himself no favours whatsoever by taking so long to finish the ghost of Hasim, Haye would have had him out of there in 2 rounds. Rahman was shot to shit a few years before he fought Wlad, I think the Ruiz fight was the one where he first looked truly awful, think McGuigan called on him to retire after that one.
  23. Wouldn't complain about the top 2...and lets face it all the Klitschko lovers jumped for joy when Wlad beat Rahman a while back. I wouldn't want Haye to fight the guy but if Wlad can get away with it then so can Haye. Harrison and Briggs would be awful though.
  24. PMSL. Another no-hoper bum lined up for the king of the bum killers :x Quitali - great KO percentage, great percentage of rounds won to rounds lost....all against shit competition, just like his little sister. God I wish Lewis were 10 years younger, or Holyfield or Bowe. Not to mention Tyson
  25. Well Vitali is a proven steroid cheat anyway so this should come as no surprise....I'd be absolutely stunned if his brother wasn't juicing too - same goes for Haye come to think of it.
