Is it just me getting deja-vu of previous managers who simply cant hear what we are all screaming at them. Respect to Wesley but he simply has not got his mojo going once (even when he scored) this season for us, even if he could win a few headers and hold the ball from time to time... nada.. Subbing Nakamba yesterday negatively changed the balance of the side and at that point, other than a brief surge, there was no way back, I have no probs seeing Trezeguet come on, but should have been him or JK replacing Wesley. We have been playing with 10 men, all season, and it appears world+dog apart from DS know that.... please not again...

I simply don't get it, 1) I personally saw lots of effort from all of our players last night , none of whom can be even close to being considered `bad` players (not sure about Hogan and yes Wheelan is yesteryear~) but combined, we were close to useless, not from a lack of effort not from a lack of individual skills, but as a team... nada, utter shite. I don't pretend to have the answer but our team, as per here and the team played for QPR should, on paper kick the seven shades out of anyone else in this league, there has to be something else, seems little point fingering DS or SB or even RG, even when the team we want get's played... we still get nothing. WTF is it? I do not know, but I think it might come down to coaching IQ, what I do know is that when we take free kicks, unless its close enough to whip into the box, it gets back-passed or taken quickly to no utility whatsoever... throw ins ? , best to just throw it straight to the opposition... never a thought of a long one or rarely a quick one, with Hogan up top why not keep it on the ground ? when we have people in position then play it, it don't decide now is a good time for a bit of triangular ball keeping or those back passing keeping possession pointless exercises (especially since Wheelan/Elmo or the Beard id gonna muff that up at least 3 times a game) etc etc etc go on WTF is it, we should be flying ???

Villa are back. Last season or most of this season that howler from Guzan would have been the first of 2 or 3 more in quick succession, with a couple more later on and perhaps a consolation goal from someone unexpected. That was then. Now, after a shaky couple of minutes we turned the game around and outplayed the champions for the vast majority of the game, under Lambert we would have tried to protect the 2-0 loss, under Sherwood the players have some belief and that showed in Bacuna,Cleverly,Grealish,Delph,Sanchez.. well all of them, even Richardson who was a liability still put in some good work, Benteke was offside too many times, the problem with that is later on when there’s a tight call... whos the linesman gonna go for, the guy who has been offside all day ? Anyway the only reason that was not a goal was that Nzogbia held on too long to the ball, he should/could have put tekkers straight through... I can only assume that anyone calling for Bacunas head probably only saw the highlights or needs the glasses more than the ref who on the whole was OK. Calling for Guzans head cos he muffed a backpass he did not want (Vlaar gets some blame there as well) .. well its daft, I think he should have stopped the third goal but anyways, like I said, Sunderland 'fans' in here Personally I think Bacuna should have stayed on and Grealish subbed instead since he was tiring towards the end and NZogbia showed a bit of his old self (not a good thing) looking to hold the ball (which he cant) and hanging on to the ball looking for a shot when he should be providing, I know he is desperate for a goal but its all about the team at the moment. This was the current champions.. at home.... not sure what any of you were expecting TBH but excluding the Semi-Final and our first couple of games this was one of the best performances of the season to date, sh*te that we did not get a point but we go again with heads held high methinks UTV

yeah fof to one of the best players on the pitch, Bacuna was brilliant today, the second goal if you gonna hand out blame to anyone was Richardson who opened the hole and then got even further out the way in case it hit him.

Ouch, just got through to Club Wembley & the Starting price on an 8 person box is..... wait for it , GBP2K + VAT per person , that’s more than the return flight, just can't bring myself to pay that much (got the missus as well remember) plently of places online selling stuff around 500quid but I don't want to fly that far to find myself with a dodgy ticket :( off to cry in my Fosters ( no-one actually drinks that here BTW so will probs be a single malt)

All the knocks at Lambert here a bit out of date, and poor taste, no he was not right for us at the end of the day and I wanted to throttle him weekly for his setup and subs BUT he found us a few decent players at good prices, Bacuna, Sanchez ,Gil, Okore etc ..in hindsight Cleverly looks like it might have been a good call as well (we wont talk about Luna & the fat bloke from Norwich) and I can only assume the reason Delph is still around is partially thanks to Lambert, he had good intentions and was behind the club 100%, just not very good at the training/managerial side of things perhaps. I thought Hepburn-Murphy was gonna get Grealished all over the place but looks like Sunderland had lost the will even for that, and he got us a great free kick which we decided to waste, anyways. Sunderland players should 1) thanked for not taking their frustrations out on our legs & 2) mightily ashamed of their fans. Sunderland fans can only thank themselves for their constant dismay, stabbed in the back 15-20,000 times in one match ain’t gonna help is it.

Shocking when you think of what he is paid for. Joke yet still one of our top scorers (not that says a lot), you think we would be better off without him?, he did get an excellent cross in which was inches from Gabby before it got cleared and he forced at least 2 corners out of nothing that I can remember, seriously dont know if I like in the same multiverse as some of you here.
