Slightly OT well actually quite OT but My uncle met a fella down the local last night who said his missus was a solicitor for Chelski and that Arry was on his way to Chelsea late next week, and proceeded to show him a £500 bet @ 7/1. Which could mean Hughes obviously not going there or on his way to Spurs but could also scupper our bid for Carlo if Spurs came in for him. Obviously lots of things have to happen for such a domino effect!
Ranieri is an idiot, lovely fella but has no killer instinct as a manager and that is ultimately why he has only won a Coppa Del Rey & a Coppa Italia in almost 25 years of management!
What's so bad about Jose's negative tactics? I bet you any money every single Arsenal fan would take Jose's approach and a few trophies to Arsene and nothing!
For me personally I think it's the fact he pissed away a lot of cash at Pool. Yeah I'm aware he bought Torres, Alonso, Reina etc, but time after time he got it wrong, and dare I say he's just another younger version of Houiller!

A similar thing happened in Mons first season if I remember correctly we flirted with relegation and could not find a win but drew about 15 games. Ultimately finishing what 11th? And the league was no where near this tight that year. That was the year Mon got in Ash Carew in Jan and really started to put his own stamp on the team, give Ged the summer and if he hasnt clicked it but early October, ship him on out!
GH actually brough him back to pool, he was there in the early 90s but had a bust up with Souness and left until GH brought him back, as he needed an out and out pool man after shafting Roy Evans!
Kev Mac,i'd rather he was a coach myself.with GH bringing in his own man.if thats Thompson or someone else i dont mind..
I'll take that, Jason Mac was on SSN the last day and said GH wasn't very approachable! Could help with KM as number 2! not very approchable, sounds like storys i have heard about O'Runner.
Yup! I'm guessing JR or SW weren't either! Everyone seems to talk highly of KM! Surely Sid should be given the reigns out the youths though!

He left Lyon because of problems with the president as for going backwards in Europe, in both 05/06 & 06/07 they topped their group undeafeated, a group that contained Real Madrid. In 05/06 the hammered PSV 5-0 on agg equaling their best ever record of getting to the quarters!
The League never lies. Being insanely lucky in the Champions League does lie.
They never beat Chelsea, they had 6/7 minutes of madness against Milan and were totally outplayed for the rest of the game and they needed a late goal to get out of the group stages.
No the complete shambles that was their Premier League campaign shows they were a poor side.
I disagree buddy, I think it was Rafas fault for their poor league form. He let Michael Owen go to Real when he came in and failed to replace him with a goal scorer. At the end of that year not one Liverpool player had scored over 12 goals in the league!
