So what we actually need to do is trim the wage bill and not have any passengers on it. That and increase Revenue. It just makes no sense for me to sell Luiz or Martinez to allow the club to progress, some might think thats short sighted but I don't think I've seen better players in their positions in my life following Villa.

Dont get this, we've sold Chuckwumeka, Philogene, Archer & Ramsey from the academy in the last 15 months for about £55m. Surely with the extra games in Europe, revenue will be up substantially?

In fairness to Archer I feel like he’s very different to Watkins. Ollie’s weakness is his finishing which can be very hit and miss. A great finish for his first today. Got to be frustrated he didn’t get more of a chance.
